The problem is.

Pauche does not like me to show up for any outing, especially if there are some other girls which he wish to 'protect' from my viciousness.

So I so poor thing, was pushed around to be led elsewhere by other folks on other outings.

Round 16: 31/03/06, Scoopz

Date: 31 Mar 06 (Fri)

Time: 1900hrs

Meet for dinner: Jurong Point 3rd floor food court (will proceed to Scoopz at 1945hrs)

SCOOPZ

Jurong Point

#B1-03

Open: 10am - 10pm daily

Scoopz, formerly known as Springdear, has been doing big business since 1999. It underwent a name change this year as owner Alex Chua wanted a friendlier name for the shop. Before setting up his own shop in 1999, he ran a homemade ice cream franchise for two years. It has since folded.

He does not use an ice cream maker, referring to make the ice cream by hand. Handmade ice cream has less air compared to those made by a machine, he says. The ice cream is placed on a 'coldplate' and hand mixed until it hardens. It takes about 20 minutes to make 1.2 litres of ice cream. Mr Chua says: 'Our ice cream is more dense and does not melt as fast, so you can enjoy it longer.'

Scoopz's bestseller is durian, followed by chempedak and rum and raisin. Each scoop sells for $2.80 and takeaway tubs cost $11.20 each.

Interested parties, pls add name.
