singapore has plenty of locations like this. only needs roads to be closed for a day or 2. how to promote? encourage betting, like horse race? through the proper channel of course. events like this can be held 4 times a year. since its roads, defenitly plenty of crowds.

 

talk about safety, people can die of walking these days. so whats with racing?

I agree. Singapore is a really good place for racing since it's so small. To travel around is so easy. If the visitors come, they will bring in the business and publicity for Singapore. Hai, Singapore government say's no because they don't want to promote racing. And many parents still view bikes as very dangerous.

When MSSC and SMSA can resolve their differences for the sake of the sport.

 

IMHO.. seems like there is some friction between these 2 bodies.

 

Does anyone here know exactly what is the problem/ problems between them???

If you guys have been to the Aviation park at Changi, that place is huge! Easily turned into advanced riding school, stunt riding school, or drag strip. Noise pollution shouldn't be a problem because even the loudest straight through pipes will not come close to a max Afterburner flypast by 6 F16s.

i have always tought of converting orchard road as a drag strip for a day......easily get a lot of public attention
