Hi all ,

Long long time didn't come up here already , been reading from Pg 37 till this , trying to keep myself updated with you guy's activities.

I am interested in the 1day trip which Stardust will be doing.

Another thing is , I will be leaving Singapore to oversea for a period of time on end of August , hence , I have to sell away my beloved Revo ... really sad to do that , it is well maintained as new ... till date , not even to a year , milage only less then 10K.

Take a look on the picture link if you are interested. I am selling at 13K with lot of other things to be given away eg : rain coat , helmet etc.

u noe of the pros & cons of EFI?

& any review of the Vtec Revo?

EFI: smooth/faster pick up, better response, no choke required.

Cons: hotter engine due to higher compression, cannot tune A/F ratio, if ECU spoilt then need to buy one but cost alot

sparky.. i think its hotter due to leaner tuning of A/F ratio.. cause lean means burn until damn hot. the reason why they use EFI is nt cause new tech, its for environment regulations. so lean means less pollution

i dunno who tell u all these, but pls dun mislead the rest, no offense to u bro.

its for environment regulations yes, better combustion, less pollution emitted.

bro what is efi ? i bought super four revo last 2 mths.. wif abs.. damn expensive

electronic fuel injector.

wif abs confirm more ex, revo alone is ex enough

I read it from the imported bike magazine called "Bike"

Im kinda offended though.. EFI is developed for more fuel efficiency, yes, that is one point. but mostly EFI is developed cause of the pple running the show about environmental and all that crap. the new Euro3 regulations make caburated engines illegal. i say that cause the standards set by these new regulations are too strict to be met by a caburated engine. only EFI gives factories the ability to control emissions to such a precise degree.

and the point about very lean mixtures making the engine burn hotter is from another import magazine called "road rider" it is in an article about how to care for your bike and it says: "avoid running your bike using the burn it lean and clean mantra. even though you save fuel that way, the extra heat caused by very lean mixtures makes the engine components in your motorcycle wear out faster" the point bout the article is that heat will make ur bike wear out faster, but it also states that lean and clean makes more heat.

if you check with racewerkz about tuning for revo, they will tell you, your bike runs very lean and thats why its so hot. first thing we will do is remove your cat converter and make the mixture richer across the whole rev range below the point where vtec opens cause when vtec open more fuel pumped in and therefore the fuel mixture is less rich.

and think about it logically, if the A/F mixture is combusted more completely, there will be more energy released right? im sure your learnt that from chemistry in school also. more energy is released in the form of heat, making the combusted substances expand and pushing the pistons to move your bike. more expansion means more "push" on the pistons. but wat causes more expansion is MORE HEAT.

I hope you understand? i read from magazines cause its an interest. if you guys choose to not believe me, its fine with me. but please dont say that i mislead everyone here. that is not my intention. just wanna share the knowledge i got from reading.

also EFI means electronic fuel injection, injectors are the nozzles where fuel exits the fuel pump in an EFI system. I dont think im the one misleading pple now am i?

it is not a flame-back to you ok? im just stating facts here and the facts are not in your favour. im REALLY sorry if you feel offended, but i am just proving my point with facts and they are against what you have said.

but thx for the support. at least someone knows wat im talking about. "road rider" is aussie "Bike" is UK.

tts y euro III emissions affect them so much. most big bikes are produced in europe. even honda ones..
