just now was at motowrold, they have Carbon slip-on Yoshimura for Revo $850..

first thing we will do is remove your cat converter and make the mixture richer across the whole rev range below the point where vtec opens cause when vtec open more fuel pumped in and therefore the fuel mixture is less rich.

 

and think about it logically, if the A/F mixture is combusted more completely, there will be more energy released right?.

this part if racewerk really tell u, i dun patronize them anymore.

 

also EFI means electronic fuel injection, injectors are the nozzles where fuel exits the fuel pump in an EFI system. I dont think im the one misleading pple now am i?

i might have some typo mistakes, but if u feel injection/injector might mislead, i apologize.

then dun patronize lor... they told me that during NBW when i went to their booth. tts y i didnt buy it either. but my point is, they said to make it richer across the rev range cause it is running very lean and hot nw. it is also supported by wat the article from "road rider" said, which again proves my point that LEANER = HOTTER.

 

and i dont mean that it will mislead, i just trying to say, dun anyhow say pple mislead if you dont know everything (not that i do) but, dun say pple mislead if you are not sure either la. everyone also trying to share what they know here ma.. im nt trying to start any war with you k?

it's normal cylindrical shape, if not wrong they also have non-carbon fibre de..

think is $50 cheaper then the carbon fibre de..

this slip-on is already out for about 2mths plus le but still not legal..

been waiting for it to legalize since starting of april

think still need to wait for a few mths time..

greeting all..sorry if i repeating this question but i try reading most of the discussion and someone lost half way thru.maybe u guys can answer me, is there any diff btw Revo with ABS and w/o. I went to a number of major shop and giving me diff recommendation.

Shop A : left with 1 Revo with ABS, say that it is better as w/o ABS have some problem but did not explain further...

Shop B : have both and lot of choice...say wif ABS, it no different as rider might not know how to react in case of emergency when doing e-brake and will actually caused more damage to the bike. No diff in selling price btn the two.

Maybe you guy are more neutral in your reply. Thanks in advance

Correction to my post. There are different price between the two bike. Diff of around 2k.

GUYS ..JUST ENCOUNTER SOMETHING THIS MORNING..WHEN I START MY BIKE FOR WARMUP..MY TAIL LIKE KEEP BLINKING..LIKE SOMEONE IS stepping lightly on my brake..only happen when my bike is cold..after i ride then no more le..do u guys have the same problem???

issit u nv ride everyday? for my bike i 2 day nv ride the meter jump 2 time liao..must like warm up everyday then the batt will be properly function i guess

lolz when this slip-on just came into the market is selling at $850 at MW then about 1 mth later the price tag on the slip-on is $950, but then when i ask "that time i come is $800 only leh" then the staff there say "no lah! $800 is for the non-carbon fibre, best price i can give u for the carbon fibre is $850"

btw the pipe still not legal yet but MW claims that they can issue a letter, if kena stop by TP just show the letter and it will be fine.. hmmm got such things? but i went back to my fav workshop they say is bulls**t lah..

how u know when u start riding alr the brake light stop blinking? u can see the tailight while riding meh? lol...

 

IF it stops then i dunno wats the prob. mayb its like wat sparker said.

 

if it does carry on blinking when ur riding it could just be the contact of the brakelight loose? im just guessing.. nt sure if got such thing..
