By now,...up to date. Can i get a review of how much mileage a revo can go???

it depends mine last time before reserve is 280-300km.

spec3 reserve is 3L while revo is 4L.

i am using the engine oil tat cost 9.90 per bottle frm boon siew can that last 4000km?

 

alot of brands u can choose from, fully synthetic will do.

 

but if u still running in, gd to use mineral oil first.

u are using mineral oil now.

280-300km??? ok ok thanks. Coz i read the earlier posts. N they say mileage sux. Tats y, since im gettin 1 soon. Recent replies like urself is something tat i really need.. So 18 litres in total, main tank can achieve tat mileage.

hmm btw cud i ask currently i riding a super 4 revo using Fuel injection i heard some revos owner told mi they went to m'sia and pump their petrol suddenly the bike lose its power and not as gd as b4 and when he went to the bike shop the person say tat jb petrol is not so clean and will jam up the Fuel injection fuel intake.... wonder cud u guys clear my doubts abt tis?

tt sounds like rubbish.. fuel injector nozzles dont get jammed overnight... even pumped those junk petrol in thailand also no prob!! dont worry la. hahahhaa

guys.. wanna ask, anyone tried removing ur muffler b4? theres a section that is a cat converter visibly seen from the outside right? anyone tried removing that DIY before?

stock one. as for the ulu one with particles, i dont know. but i know of friends who rode their bikes to vietnam and they simply pour the petrol frm rusty containers.. but hasnt affected. i noticed a few particles in my fuel tank when i was in thailand... but didnt affect my bike much anyway.

 

so i doubt there will be enough of an effect to be felt.

for the exhaust, got 2 cat in the header and 1 cat on the endcan. if u remove them u might have to install a PC cos the engine will be running too lean.

its not that i dont believe that there are particles in the fuel. im just saying its ok, cause in singapore its also like that when the tanker just topped up the petrol station's tanks. i saw it in the esso 95 petrol i was pumping. among the red fuel coming outta the nozzle, there were specs of black stuff.

 

I think thats why theres some advice circulating about not pumping petrol just after the tanker drops of fuel at ur petrol station cause the particles are not settled yet.
