Not too sure about Revo problems, just that being Fuel Injection, the engine is hotter than carburetor models.

Also since it's a new design, most shops the uncles yet to figure out how to service this bike properly. If they do wrongly, instead of being more fuel efficient than carburetor S4, it becomes worse. Also instead of being more powerful than normal S4, if service wrongly the bike power become worse

Personally switch from version s to 1st hand revo. Found revo to be more smooth and responsive. Regarding the heat, yes its slightly hotter but not unbearably hot like those liter bikes. Regarding the hear say revo easy spoil, mine. 4 yrs + running( Occasinal wacking) no major problem apart the normal servicing.

i bought my new revo from a motor shop, how do i know if its from boon siew or its a parallel import? thanks

In Sg, there is agent bike (Boon Siew) and Parallel Import (PI) bike & same there is a cost difference of $700 to $1000 more getting the agent bike

* Chasis no JHxxxxxx for agent bike, sticker & manual in English

* Chasis no NCxxxxx for PI bike, sticker & manual in Japanese

you will need a super long mudflap if you want to prevent that as i already have a mudflap but the rainwater still gets onto my box. the only thing that was solved was that the rainwater was not on me haha.

im going to crazy to make decision either s4 2014 or cb400x

If you are tall then get cb400x cauz theres lots of promo for it right now. S4 although got new gear indicator theres actually not much changes other than that haha. You might as well wait awhile more for promo. Dun be like me make wrong decision buying spec3 at the highest possible price lol. I was damn noob that time

LAB Kelantan lane

The one from LAB is hard plastic and will crack and break after a few months due to constant "swinging" during the ride.

For me, I go to the rubber shop at Towner Road, bought a suitable piece of rubber of about 2.5mm thickness, cut it to the shape of the mudflap and it is lasting me forever.

I did the same for my front wheel and it has been serving me well. Otherwise, those small stones and pebbles will always be churned up and damage the cooling fins on my radiator. Bloody HONDA should have incorporated this onto their bikes. My ex-SUZUKI came pre-installed with the mudflap extension for the front wheel.
