My sigma boots lasted me 2 sessions, then slider got worn out and flew off, sole also got ripped etc.

My G-RS has lasted me 2 years, including protecting my feet in a bad highside, still going strong.

Argh, Sidi Vertebra Race.... no comments.

Didn't last too long. Toe sliders came halfway off on contact with tarmac. Not too long after, the plastics on the heel started to crack. And those are sewn in and irreplaceable.

Proves that more expensive != lasting or quality sometimes. :giddy:

Next time I'll go with Gaerne or Oxtar.

My Teknic Speedstar boots survived a high speed crash and is still fine. Quality stuff, and not expensive. Could be had for ~USD150 + shipping.

I had a pair of SIDI Vertebra II Tepor and used them only a few times. They feel pretty sturdy. Never tried the Race version, though.

gaerne GRS is the cheapest boot around that comes with ankle protector function. the rollerblade like buckle keeps the boot real snug fit.
