bring to JB and ask the man to polish and pay him service charge

 

I do at 1am with one malay man near New York Hotel

 

I pay him RM6 for his makan and RM10 for the polishing job.

Bike had two bad symptoms

1. loud noise coming from upper block , ting ting ting ting ting ting ting

2. gear 1 and then open throttle, loud noise , CLANG CLANG

 

29/8/08

Meter 79388

9:20am – 2:30pm overhaul process

4pm – 4:30pm 2nd visit due to high idling

5:50pm - 6pm 3rd visit after bike wash cannot start

 

Camshaft one set Yamaha Genuine - $45 from Autocycle centre

Connecting rod one set Yamaha Genuine - $55 from Autocycle centre

Total $100

 

Air filter Yamaha Genuine – RM25

3x starter clutch bosh local brand – RM20

2x bearing crankshaft – SKF brand – RM70

2x valve tappet arm rocker- local brand of SRE Yamaha model – RM36

2x Valve seat local brand - RM16

4x clutch damper rubber local brand – RM25

oil seal gearbox LHS –RM8

Auto clutch bearing one set local brand - RM45

Service charge – RM120

Total RM 365

 

Adjusted and tighten handle bearing and nut/bolt.

 

Wash bike RM6

 

Total RM230 + RM365 + RM6 = RM 601

I got soft copy of that Parts Catalogue in my PC...

got 2 version...One from indonesia for JupieZ and another one from Vietnam for Jupiter RC...

The JupieZ one in english and the Jupiter RC in vietnam language...

Both in PDF format...

1. Changed spark plug coil head/cap.

Previous original from factory was Made In Japan NGK.

 

Cap broken due to mechanic negligence and he just kept quiet (suspect). No wonder after my last bike wash could not start engine. Water captured inside the broken cap.

 

Changed to a better brand with waterproof, >1000M effective resistance, 40C-120C celcius working temperature, voltage >22000KV, suppress electromagnetic interference generated by the engine’s ignition system.

 

=RM10

 

2. Changed engine oil Shell 4T 20w-40

 

=RM15.50

 

3. Spray chain oil

 

4. changed spark plug Denso Iridium

 

=SGD16

I am a new sparkz 110 rider. I want to ask if you guys see something wrong with the fuel needle. when pump full tank, the pointer still at half tank. but after a while abt 50km it goes back to the correct reading which is somewhere near full tank. Anyone know what to change?

i do not know about the fuel needle in meter

 

i suggest bring to JB on saturday to check with my mechanic

 

use voltmeter can check the wiring

I will check out the fuel float problem. what sprocket size is good for 110km/h cruising speed?. I use 15-36 but engine is too stress. Now using 15-35. So far so good. Engine not stress but slower to reach 110km/h. any change needed beside the sprocket size?

I did the same gasket in the centre of exhaust pipe.

I changed "original yamaha part" for RM8 if not mistaken. Did in JB mid of this year

oh its that cheap? but im desperate for it already ah. the smoke coming out of centre part of the exhaust. alot of difference after changing but then the pick up is not that good when i first bought it. need to do settings?

any idea?
