Hi Expert,

My bike is still below 1K mileage. And feel it is vibrate a lot when reached 60Km/h, I am driving between 40km/h to 75km/h now, do you all drive more than 80km/h during the engine break in period?

I got mine at very good price from my regular bike shop. Its the SARMY model.

My front also damping not so good. Will top up a bit more fork oil to make it slightly harder.

so far don't notice any vibration unless you let go the handlebar. the bike is very smooth. I remember a previous bro has this issue also but was fixed after the engine oil change. you may want to book an early appointment with HL and get the service done.

It's ok to ride up to 80-90km/h during the run-in period but do accelerate smoothly.

bro y2kredbull, so roughly how much is that cost?

Hi Guy,

Do you all think that it good that the width of the tire wider? will it help reduce bumby?

If you want to change tire size to reduce bumpy, I think you need to increase the thickness of the tires (like off-road buggies tires). Increasing the width will change the contact area from long to wide and affect straight-line handling. Both will increase rotating mass and make acceleration poorer. Also, may be hard and costlier to find non-standard sizes.

Hi Guy,

i think what you are talking about is because of the rear suspension la. the feeling is sucky right? i'm also interested in getting the rear suspension changed. but not so soon.

When cornering the bike is not stable (normal cornering). May be the bike is higher than the normal cub (my ex honda wave). Especially when raining. May be changing the suspension will help.

bumpy ride is not easy to settle. you have to check tyre inflation, rubber mounting, absorber n its joint has rubber tat could possibly harden over time.

wider tyre are not neccessary, any wider than factory specs are waste.

my suggestion to your problem is to check everything tat i mention above.

that can't be helped. just follow through the instability and it will be ok. single rider- feel a bit. pillion - scary! so much instability.

fork oil - flush or top up more or use a different viscosity fork oil? any tips on a better change? and what do u mean by lower a bit? cos some people hardened theirs but i also don't know what they mean by harden.

I flushed out my old fork oil and replaced with slightly thicker oil of Racetec brand.Lowered fork to 1/2 inch for better handling. The stock set-up,my forks were very soft.

good rubber discussed before, you've got to check older pages. for summary

duro - 70/90 front 80/90 rear

soft, good at high speed cornering, fast worn out. approx 8000km -+(rear)

dunlop tt900 - 70/90 front 80/90 rear

same as duro, but better quality

wat do u mean by good rubber? grip at corner or wet condition? or gives u more mileage?

Good rubber would mean good corner grip, good grip in wet, good mileage and not least GOOD PRICE! :cheeky:

Jokes aside,i will choose TT900.Used it on my spark135 with no complaints.Last month i asked price was rm190 front and rear.u guys normally only change the front once every 2 rear change?
