You know HL tell me that I can only collect my bike after CNY..... I was so Pissed. A small matter and yet told me that to wait so long. Plus the lorry will only come a few days later... That's y I push from Yishun Safra to SPC and it took me less than an hour. Just get the mechanic to check and replace new battery. Everything is up and running. So I am quite pissed with HL services... I called their number that is pasted on my bike... But no one picks up.. I call Ban hon then they give me another number.

 

wah.cny no bike.JIXIANG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!hahahahahaha

My kickstart dun even work when the battery is flat... My friend who rides scramble help me to kick start and cant get it up.

 

it depends on how flat the battery is. and kicking start a bike with left side kick starter is not easy. doesn't mean your friend who knows how to kick start a 4-stroke scrambler, will know how to kick start a nouvo. needs practice and momentum.

If the bat totaly flat, u stil can kickstarting the bike. The engine need no battery at all when kickstarting.

Hi guys, My battery died on me at 9860++ km. Is it normal? I have to push my bike all the way to change my battery....

 

I charge my battery every 2 mths.So far so good.Only have problems with kickstart.Maybe my carb need servicing.Cos sometimes when electric start also have to throttle a lot to start.Otherwise engine keeps dying off.:(

Only need to charge if you don't use the bike for a long time, have a volt stabiliser, alarm system, have very short infrequent trips such that the batt doesn't fully charge, have a lot of lightings, and the battery isn't spoil. Else normal riding is good enough to maintain the battery charge for 2 years.

No wonder. For you, you need to press the starter every 2km. For me, I press the starter every 25km. The largest current draw is from the starter. But if you should be making other longer trips besides the daily 4km work-home as you already hit 10k km before 1 year. To take out the batt to charge regularly may not be so practical unless you have a garage with readily accessible power so that you do not need to remove the batt terminals everytime.

I am also studying at SIM for 2 days per week. I am hitting 996X km now and my bike is yet to be a year old...

If only kick start can be started easily then u dun have to use electric start all the time

I bought a battery charger from motoworld when i was riding a busa.sold off my busa but still have the charger so just use lor.:)

mine reaching 21000km.. soon to celebrate 1 yr old bdae.. im buying my bike a gift.. a gift of insurance renewal... :angel:
