I paid $280 @ rosli for carbs wash and tuned + normal servicing before I customise my bike into bobber. Left my bike there for 2 days. Result was good though.

I only washed my carbs when i had water issues. got one time i turned to reserve and engine start to choke. keep dying. then realised inside carb got water lor. so wash lor. ah chong will tell u for sure, no problem, dont open carb. as usual. haha!

mine was a honda steed vse400. the right side cover under e rider seat, u open that n can see e spare coolant tank. u can top up from there. u will need a small funnel or best is a flexible tubing with a funnel.

Any reviews on the shinko tyres?

 

They only cost half as much as the dunlops and bridges.

 

not bad.use it for a roadtrip to krabi and back.

Anyway, I am using the shinko tourmaster. Just the front wheel now.

I would say the design not as nice as the bridgestones. Looks kinda budget but still not that bad. Not sure of the functionality but for a fraction of its price, Pretty okay.

Compound is nice and soft.

Letting go a pair of Cobra slash cut pipes, built for VLX400, 600 maybe too.

Trade in with stock pipe + top up $150 cash.

hi guys! i am new to steed and would like to find some answer to this machine. this steed bike of my neighbor seems to cut itself off slowly during idling, and the engine sound seems weird as if something is loose inside? i give a huge vibration sound when i rev it up.

As there are two types of steed(check your log card from one motoring login with your singpass)

 

Honda VLX VLS NV 400 CJ/CK Steed 92-93

Honda VLX VLS NV 400 CS/CV Steed 95-97

 

Some parts like brakes are not interchangeable. This website could be of help. Cheers
