tune the bike up to prefection...a tricky question...it depends on the skills of ur mechanic n also ur riding techniques...money plays a big part too, meaning how many try errors u can afford...

in some point you are right, but i believe it's mainly because Singapore doesn't have the culture of mod the bike (Thanks Mr LTA) , so the mech are not that much familiar ... example look at germany or US where you can nearly do everything ... change the rake is just a simple formality can be made in no time in all serious shop , depend on witch bike you can directly find the swap pieces ... this by there is not a things we can imagine ...

There are no legal aftermarket exhaust for a steed. It's either you ride a stock bike or ride illegally.

hey guys, im experiencing some problem with my steed....

 

i dont ride as often now, but i realise after i left my bike for 2days, the battery will go flat!

 

i will always push start and go to work place... by then should be able to get the battery charged right? but i found out the battery is still not charge?...

 

so isit the battery fault? or the charger fault?

 

i ask my frz, he say as long as i can ride... it should charge the battery... but end up the bike cannot be started after i rode.

 

any ideas guys?

Check rectifier wiring. If wiring is good, chances are your rectifier is is due for a change. (steed is generally an old bike afterall)

ps/ steed rectifier is on the left side just below the left side cover. exposed one.

Could be faulty IU draining batt rapidly. Put in cashcard before you ride. After the trip, remove cashcard and if the cashcard feels hot then your IU is faulty. Read this tip somewhere in the forum...
