Autosol + paper towel + alot of elbow grease and patience = shiny spokes.

But like Bardamuz said, after a few days of usage they will be coated with brake dust again. I deal with that by using a toilet brush and scrub them during my weekly bike wash.

Please note that Autosol is a very harsh polish and should only be used on parts in poor condiiton. To maintain those already-shiny chrome, use milder ones like Turtle Wax liquid chrome polish.

I used Singer Sewing machine oil cheap and good result especially on dull chrome.

Price revised to $4380!

FP 3641 A (Honda Steed 400 VSE). Coe till 31-05-2017. Renewable for another 10years. Road tax till 16-12-2013.

Descriptions

1.) Did a 100% full chrome in Feb. That's including the rims, spokes, forks and basically all bared metal and metallic parts. Its now the most sparkling Steed in the market!

2.) All body panels and fuel tank resprayed with Metallic Black paint. Under the sun, it glitters just like a vampire!

3.) At the same time, the whole bike frame fully stripped and resprayed with a thick coating of Matt Black paint. Very compatible with the Metallic Black body!

4.) Fitted with seat condom for both seats. No more warm butts!

5.) I added a special ingredient to the rear of the backrest. A waterproof black army pouch which can fit a bike cover in the main compartment, a cloth+some basic tools in the left and right side compartment. It really is a fantastic match for the backrest!

6.) Things done in 24/12/12(receipt will be shown)

Engine oil, oil/air filters, sparkplugs, DID Xring chain, F/R spockets, rear brake shoe, front brakepad, brake lever, brake pump kit, brake fluid, brake capliers, oil nut gasket and STA passed inspection!

7.) Previous owner changed to a straight handlebar so its definitely a very cool looking cruiser!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is really a good sound bike! I was totally floored by the bassy yet approved exhaust note!

Mechanically stable and all original parts but i wanted to transform it into a priceless show piece. So i asked First Motor to give it a glittery Metallic Black paint, Matt Black for the frame and lastly, leave no parts unchrome!

I won't post any photos of my bike. Seriously, photos just can't show how it really look and sound liked. You have got to physically see it with your own eyes! 100% no accident before!

Viewing is at First Motor(Ubi) only. Look for Uncle Leonard and he will show you the completed project.

Selling at $4380. Negotiable. I will bear the transfer fee. Kindly call or sms me at 9099 1225 if confirm to deal.

Hi Guys,

Selling my unused tank for $300 negotiable.

Tank is imported from Japan and i did not include in shipping cost.

Reason for selling is due to the material, FRP which is a kind of plastic but of course safe for petrol storage.

Prefer steel as i need to do some mods which is easier to weld, cut etc etc.

Please take note

Tank is Sportster low mount style and comes with a ol skool style screwed gas cap meaning anybody can open it up. ( should be able to change to a lockable one )

Petcock that comes with it is only ON and OFF only. There is no RESERVE for this tank. From what i know certain models have a fuel reserve indicator by which a light will lit up at the triple tree and this indicates your petrol is now going on reserve but it will be a problem for Steeds without the reserve indicator unless u go by mileage.

Brackets, bolts and nuts will be provided as well. This is a simple straight away bolt on to your bike.

No hassles of welding brackets etc etc.

Contact 90020723 to deal.

Thanks!

I have a Springer Steed i am making a Bobber , 19" in front should not be a problem, in rear sound a little too much , concerning the rim you have too look in two side Harley or MotoCross considering you have a drum in rear , or you keep you Hub and find the circle (dono the name) in the large and diameter and get someone will relace for you, the case of the inspection should not be a problem.

Think twice a board tracker with springer in front should not match too much due to the strange rake we have in front (at least is my opinion)

That's before .... wait to see After

Don't mean to throw a wet blanket over the modding scene, but I believe LTA thinks everything that is not OEM is considered illegal. When I went for inspection in April I had to change my headlights and mirrors back to stock.

Mirrors is because of the sharp edges, while headlights is simply because it's not OEM. Ridiculous, considering that the aftermarket one is twice the brightness and I did adjust the aim to not blind oncoming traffic.

He was considering failing my forward control extensions, but I manage to persuade him, saying it's more comfortable and thus safer.

Therefore when doing mods, do consider reversible ones so that come inspection you can revert back to stock. Keep the stock parts!

And wear proper gear while riding so that when you encounter LTA on the road they may give chance. Wearing protective gear gives the impression that you are serious about safety.

There was a bobber that had to be scrapped because the subframe was cut off. Think it belongs to the guy a few post above.

Strange i know 3 Steed with subframe cut and pass every year the inspection, that probably depend on who bring the bike to the inspection.
