When it comes to modification, it's not the bike that denotes complexity but rather the level of commitment and intensity of modification. Analyzing, Conceptualizing, Planning, Execution, Reviewing... Have a specific goal in mind and head towards it. try not to veer off course or you may find yourself creating something that may not be desirable to your standards. And as we all know, Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. If you like what you have, it doesn't matter what others think. :)

As claimed, There's a need to drive when we have a Family. But all that is needed to ride is Dream... Many are still dreaming about it.

Oh gayz!!!! Thx for all the advise. Reason why I'm giving up my ducati to swap to a steed is because I really wanna get a bike to customise to my liking.

So i guess 2k for the pretty bad condition steed will be pretty well spent. =)

Boyvin and ziggy_ziggz:

Try pulling the choke and start. after a minute, close the choke to regulate the idling. instead of adjusting the idling pin.

sambora67:

If you are okay with it. you could try my mechanic. He will give you rather honest diagnostic. only advise you to change the relevant parts. Shinko tires at

$175 with installations is damn cheap if you ask me. bridgestone rear tyre along already cost $160. Thanks dude for complimenting on my bike.

Jiansheng: Air filter cover you can try Chong Aik. if ah boy or the shop beside.

hi nomad, sorry did not log in a while, anyway where is ur mech located ? i would like to get the leak stopped as my v-twin engine is messed up with black oil. and also back suspension second hand available? wat is cost like and for brand new or is it repairable? Steed is actually the bike i use daily here in singapore as for touring i do have a STX .

Hey Sambora67

Map link

It's at block 4002. he just shifted to the side of a paint shop.

His name is ah xiong. I know there are 2 steed at yishun industrial park Soon Hin that are going for scrap. you might want to ask if they are willing to sell the rear suspension. Or maybe you could rebuild the rear suspension to save cost. Steed is relatively convenient for mainland commuting.

Yo stickittotheMan

There are only 3 type of steed for class 2A.

VLX, VSE and VLS.

Price range from 1.5k (or less) to 3k (or more) according to the model order above.

Hi Bro, New shock costs about $350 from everfit. I replaced mine already and got a spare one available (got it thru my bike shop, mech said it was from a springer). modded the shock a bit by placing 2 spacers for the spring so its stiffer (I'm quite a heavy weight). Damping still good and no leaks. $100 for the shock only and $120 with installation.. Can install on VSE or VLS but might need help if you're riding a VLX. PM if interested.

Need a lowering kit as well?

Dudes, any idea if the new boulevard's pipes can be stuck onto our steeds?

And who imports its parts?

You referring to the slip on part (back half) or whole exhaust? Don't think whole exhaust can fit. If the slip on part then you might have to cut your exhaust first.

Think this forummer stgtti is riding his boulevard with slip on fishtails. :thumb:
