Thanks for your info st_gtti.. guess I've to shop around more.. Chiong Aik's stocks are limited to fishtail types.

I'd very much prefer the Boulevard's end cut, non-slip on sorts.

Reg my fuel comsumption:

my steed400 still run at

Is there any expert can tell is it true? if it is true, and how many% it may increase my FC.

Actually, I think it won't be a very substantial improvement. Petrol don't come in contact with clutch directly anyway. Could it have been your carb tuning is out? Tried to retune your carb before?

you only need clutch plates replacement when you realised that the freeplay on the clutch lever is gradually increasing. Carb tuning would help in improving FC. Gas cap leak could also give you a inaccurate calculation of FC. The rubber seal at the gas cap might have cause some gas to leak. High idling could also cause an increase in FC.

nomad's da man! And gas leakage due to gas cap leak may even cause the engine to die off due to lean air to fuel mixture. Epoxy can solve the issue easily.

I ask HKL, they quote $90.

If you go Rosli, its $60. (as quoted by bros here.)

VLX4, VSE4 & VLX6 have fuel capacity of 11 litres LINK

VLS uses a 9 litres fuel tank.

Still on the topic of FC, I modified my MODIFIED (double modified it, first mod done by previous owner) exhaust and the sound's very bassy and LOUD. Removed half of the baffle and left the the inner half inside (think it's welded to the header pipe internally) Discovered FC today was 18.5km/L only. If got time, will go to AMK to check the jetting size. Suspect main jet number is BIG (>150) so that's why FC like that. Might have to use slightly smaller ones to improve FC. Any bros here using modded exhaust to recommend main jet sizing? Please don't recommend original steed main jet size. haha :cheeky:

DUDE~! i have modified X2 the pipe too and the FC has decreased to 21km/L. But i discovered that i could reach a top speed of 150km/h as compare to the previous setting.

Thanks AnalQueen. There are a few guys with commendable mods here too. :)
