Almost forgot...i'm looking for a LEFT HAND side cover for my vse, preferably black in colour. Found mine flown off with only 1 broken off plug-in stud ( not sure wat to call it) still plugged in.

 

Anyone here knows where to find? How much would it cost?

However it do not seems to included the full length replacement brake rod and shift rod extension. So izzit possible to fit it to vlx 400 without any additional hardware (it is stated for vlx 600, and I assume should be the same as vlx 400)?

 

Any bro could advise me on this?

By comparing both controls, they look similar on the holes for the bolts and nuts but ofcos they are different in the design and quality.. Scootmods using aluminium (silverish) and the other is Steel (painted). I don't think steel can last long. (my 2cents)

I heard the previous owner of my Steed said that he bought a new one for the VSE model for $60/-, and it has the VSE logo on the cover. Not sure for the VLX (1st generation) and VLS (Springer).

Scootmods does indicate that a full length replacement brake rod and a shift rod extension are included (on 2nd paragraph).

that 2 things at the end, are they for signal lights?

if you are talking about the metal rod sticking out, they should be bolting points for the struts. Keeping the fender away from the spinning tire.
