I am planning to sale my 17years steed, I think it is still in very good condition, i am riding to the date, has not give me any problem so far.

i guess it depends on condition, coe and accessories? e forum now got a few steeds... but all e prices not that attractive, so i realised that they have been already trying to sell for quite some time... ur price gd, sure got alot of ppl want... i think e price should be less than $2k... check out e other steeds, or even e steed which got sold recently to get a better gauge...

 

anyway, my fren looking for steed also, u can pm me ur price once u decide...

for a completely stock steed, you can find it at local shops for about 1.8k to 2k but orginal paintwork/condition, asphoon sold a steed at 2.5k with new paint works and upholstery work.. so as you can see, the range of a stock steed are around there..

 

as for modded steeds such as nomad's or t1's, those definitely could fetch higher, if not for the awesome mod works, at least for effort, time and passion..

chong aik, last time I checked, they had some cobra and/or daytona pipes if I'm not wrong, leftover stocks apparently, or you could do what sidewayz did, go to ah ann, custom-made pipes as solid as vance & hines side shot

haha not yet, probably this saturday, or maybe on a weekday if i can get off work on time, a bit troublesome to head there w/o transport lol, i have to bring the fork gaiters there anyway

kaki bukit vicom or changi vicom. Sta sin ming also ok.

The whitewalls are painted on the tyres. Bought 2 cans from eBay. Can Contact me if interested to buy from me. Painted 3 coats and still got abt 3/4 tin of paint left! Comes with Brush.

me n my fren have been doing inspection at vicom yishun... very nice uncles there... my fren go inspection still on his leds, WHOLE BIKE also filled with led... e uncle look at him n say "boy ah, this one cannot on hor"... my fren say "orh, ok uncle, sorry"... then my fren off it...

Aiyo, those kind will turn in to "yellow walls" soon leh.. but it's good also la, u buy brand new whitewalls ur current tyres also wasted..

I was being quoted $400+ for both front and back white walls including installations. Is that price ok?

What brand whitewalls? Avon? Was told that Avon don't make whitewalls for steed rims leh.

Avon.. I saw a Dragstar with those on.. Same size as Steed, bought at CA

T1, I went to CA 2 mths back and they said don't bring in anymore for steed.

Dunno what's happening.. Maybe they only sell to 'favoured' customers.

Btw, anyone need to replace their tires? I'll sell my current tires cheap cheap if I changing to white walls tires. Current tires are Bridgestone, front tire is very new, bought in mid March 10 but seldom use. Rear tire is 1yr old+ but bike seldom use after i took over in last sept 09.
