Hey guys, am pretty new to this forum even though i've been riding for like 3 years, wanna customize my phantom like some of those i have seen posted by the pink phantom stuff, how much roughly does the full mod cost? and how long do the pros take to whip it up?

Welcome.

"Full mod" is very unclear, and doesnt really make sense.

Whatever you want to mod, there are price tags attached to each of them.

So total cost of your version of "full mod" is the total cost of what you want to mod.... (???) :faint:

Bike mods will never end. A change of a certain little part or adding of a little bitsy accessory, like the tyre caps, are also mods. Once you start, you cant stop so long as you still ride the bike, want to mod, and have a realistic balance in creative ideas and cash.

:goodluck:

hi fredocker

there's no full mod for phantom.. cos there are too many mods.. you got to slowly change what you like..

Rat bike - A motorcycle not necessarily kept in pristine condition, often painted matt black. Minimal maintenance and mismatched parts often used.

Only two places I knew in Singapore that can do a good mod on our Phantom. Enter Koon Motors and PinkPhantom.

B4 you mod your Phantom, have it plan down to the last details of what theme you like it to be and how it affects your bike outlook in general!!!

If you really couldnt wait and dont mind paying a tad bit more than Madman's price, you can get that at LAB, Auntie or K*on.

Careful while you peng your bike with it though, it gets really low and has high chances of scraping the floor.

No it's not. It's just a normal footpeg with a heel rest.

Guys, is the chrome rack for the back box as sturdy & stable as the black ones?

Saw on pinkphantom website that there's 2 length of chrome rack; 13" & 8". Which rack is for which box?

kzone, the rack's actual main purpose is not to fit a box. It can never beat racks specially made for boxes.

But it can house a box with custom brackets/manners. gohkm is selling his, which he used to fit a box and he'll be glad to demo how he got it fixed onto it (PM gohkm to ask).

I fit a box when i want to go for long trips, picnics or market... Im using 2 brackets, easy in and out and very sturdy.

Generally for those racks, if the box is not fitted properly, box may shake badly and risk killer road litter.

ah ic... will PM him once I get my bike.

YasMan, since u dont normally have a back box, where do u keep ur helmet/s? I've also tried to search this forum for any sidebox that can fit a FF helmet but didnt come across any...

I used to lock my helmets (with a padlock) onto the ERP bracket of my Phantom.

Currently, I made an adapter to mount a Kuryakyn helmet lock onto the side of my luggage rack. My helmets are old & batterred, scarred by an amaturish attempt at spraying, so I'm not too concerned about thieving hands :p
