juz like a road bike n a sports bike..

insurrance will give a higher premiums to the bike that has higher rate of involvements in accidents (by statistics)

Depends..If you buy full cash then can opt for 3rd party only..If bikeshop then most likely they will ask you buy TPFT..

i intended to buy an sp from someone later n i just bought ntuc's insurance a few days ago.

they quote me 588 for 3rd party, but they say by next week the premium's will

be raised $50-100 but they cant give me the exact amount yet.

i am just 18 year old and passed not more than 4 months ago and this insurance

goes to an FS plate sp.

guess im lucky to have bought the policy first as my intended transfer date will only be at 15th november...the price still same heh =)

what do u mean?im still working to save up money for the bike, which by then ill have enough to pay all.

and during this duration i do not need to pay extra for the insurance which has not yet been effected.

so by buying it earlier..id actually saved up precious 50-100 dollers for other uses.

it pays to be patient :)

regarding the price of the insurance premiums, it all boils down to the age and blablabla... refer to my previous post for info.. =)

ok i am going to copy and paste my previous post.. =)

"

oya from what i think. there are a few factors to be taken into consideration.

- age

- riding experience/pass date

- model/made of vehicle

- capacity

- age of vehicle

i can say all these bcos i enquired a 97 and 98 wr2 also. and it was 623.23 for me 19 p plate still. =)

"

so in another words, the more newer the bike is, the higher the premium. =)
