Serves 2

3-5 small cloves of garlic. sliced.

100g of beansprouts

4 tablespoons of thai fish sauce

100ml of water

3 tablespoons of cooking oil

Heat up the pan.

Add the oil and garlic.

stirfry till slightly goldenbrown

Add the beansprouts.

add the fish sauce and water, stirring occasionally for 3 mins.

Serve hot.

You can do the same with dou miao also.

:cheeky: regarding your cooking methods, i personally feel 3min abit too long leh~

and keep on like tat stir, the dou ya will nuah nuah de~

hmmm~ for dou miao or dou ya~

my suggestion:

may i suggest after the thai fish sauce, add "shao xing jiu" ~

add the wine around at the side of the hot wok (HOT)~

and cover it wif a lid for a few seconds (to 'force' out the sweetness of the dou ya and the wine will oso get rid of the 'special smell' which cause ppl to dislike them yet make them so cruchy~ :hungry: ), then open the lid and stir fry abt 2times then can dish up already~

your bean sprout will have the wonderful wine smell & so crunchy~ :hungry:

note:

add the wine at the side rather than directly to the bean sprout, bcause, it will cause the alcohol to evaporate yet the fragrance is being 'captured' together with the 'guo qi' ('the wok smell')

yesterday got home really late.

plus i was so tired, i was nagging at my tenants with I dont remember what nonsense...i think its about how men are useless blah blah blah...

then checked on my beansprouts, and found them to have sprouted additional roots.

Think they are over ripe to makan?

Instead of beansprouts...I think I have sprouted Bean Plants.

Anyone keen to plant bean plants?

You dont eat beansprout, so need to prepare extra portion for you.

Think tomorrow evening lah. Maybe Stadium Mac.

Bring newspapers & lots of magazines to chill the day away.
