affordability is subjective.

probably you can outline a few must-haves in your bike choosing criteria.

and also... whats your budget?

If u stack 4 pple on a scooter, ride thru potholes, chiong 120km/h, JB to pasir ris daily, never top up EO, servicing 5k....... then i think overloaded.

Anything below that, frankly, dun think so much.

you learnt to ride bicycle when u were in primary school (probably) leave u stranded for years, touch again in poly, what are the chances of you still knowing how to balance? i would say, at the most 1/2 hour of being unsteady, then ok already.

personally, i think 2a, the problems are probably the weight, and the hydraulic clutch (issit?), maybe height..... other than that, perhaps instructor see your face no confidence dun let u pass.

cheers!

do you mean you are not bothered by servicing or you cant be bothered to service your bike?

5k budget means 4k bike price 1k to cover paperwork....minus 500 for full servicing...

you should buy a 3.5k bike 2nd hand bike.

first hand then add back the 500.. which brings it back to 4k budget.

but from what i've seen so far... 4K is quite hard to own a scooter thats within 3 years old.

alternatively, you can also spend 800 bucks on scooters that are 10 years old.. e.g. skippers...

hahah!

Dude.. CBF150 is not a scooter, fyi. For scooters, the more popular ones are wave, x1, spark 135, gilera runner.. Though I think the gilera runner is out of your budget. For 5k, you can get a new X1.

bro, for scooter i recommend gilera runner, fast, strong n gd.

if for cheap transportation, i recommend u honda wave but its a kup.

if for me to choose, i choose honda wave, cos can put big box, no clutch, very gd fuel consumption n super low maintenance.
