being an x1 rider myself..i would suggest u get a spark135 if u are looking for a 1st hand machine

main reason being resale value of spark135 will definitely be higher than x1 when u intend to upgrade to class 2a or 2 nxt time

 

if u are lookin for 2nd hand machine...either u wait until u can find a spark135 available (which is quite rare in my opinion) or get a x1 at a reasonable price

 

that day chatted up with a fellow x1 rider in ah gua lane

he paid like $3.4K full cash for his 2nd hand FZ plate x1 when i paid like $3.6K for my own FZ plate x1 1st hand

i guess the insurance part really costed him quite abit cause he is young

 

so get yr finances sorted out and in yr find

 

*p.s: i feel there are quite a few differences in terms of outlook and performance between spark and x1. so perhaps that can be the other area u may wan to look into besides finances

thanks guys for your replies!!!i really appreciate it...umm...i intend to get a first hand and this shop qoute me $4k for a spark otr and $4.2k for an x1 otr...issit cheap or expensive???

there is 2 type 1 agent and the other is parrallel import

for parallel import market rate should be about 3.5K-$4.++K depending on age for insurance and shop

as there is ppl who buy parallel import bike for $4.6 and above oso have

by right if ur age and experience is enough and u went to the correct shop for a agent bike it should be around $4.6 to $5K

of cos! no matter wat bike u riding we are all still bikers

furthermore u are riding X1 we are all yamaha and all kups as well

anyway sparks and X1 isnt really much of a difference as well

he told me 4.2k = otr, insurance = 800 (mitsui, 20 yrs old), GST (not sure how much), interest = 5 % per year

 

downpayment 1k

133 X 36 = 4788

 

did he count wrongly??? or its just me....seems ex leh....

Shud be quite reasonable cos i got my red normal Sparky last week for $4600 OTR w/o I.U. COE $880,Insurance $350 + transfers and agreement fees.

Anyone knows where else can get CF fairings?Those white CF types.Can get in JB?Bplus selling for $500++ whole set.
