Hi bros,

I'm looking for spark 135.

was quoted 4.2k OTR w/o ERP unit for full cash. If through instalment down 1k, monthly $150x24 so is 4.6K(w/o ERP unit). Both insurance 2nd party.

Is it worth it? or is the price resonable. ERP is $80 bucks for 2nd hand. I found this price the cheapest around sg motordiam, but i scare a later there's a lot of hidden fees. What can do abt it? Ask to boss to write all in black & white?

I heard that most spark 135 are from hong leong yamaha. So i was thinking why not go straight to them, maybe i could get a better price. Any suggestions?

hi vbc, well from what i was quoted at hua chin at bukit batok, its priced at 280 bucks. thats ur disc conversion + new rims ( not inclusive of tyres).

okay heres speaking from experience. the mechanic must be bullshitting if he says u must change rims, cos its possible to use disc brake on spoke rims, all you need to do is find a new hub and thats it.

but you must consider that sports rims will alter the riding experience like what i'm experiencing now, you're gonna feel your pickup/acceleration would be a little heavier than usual. but, thats just a minor problem, it can be fixed by changing your sprocket size etc. thats just my 5 cents worth. heh. what i advice is go jb AGL ah, thats what i did.

Thrash? Don't mind if i do.

is this because of the weight or the rear disc rubbbing against the brake pad?

nope~ becoz sports rims are much heavier than spoke rims.... there's bound to be a difference~

which is why most cub racers prefer to use original spoke rims during races, to prevent the lag caused...

Hi there,

I understand that Spark135 needs you to step down to change gear.

I was wondering if it is possible to reverse this so that stepping up with change gear from 1-2-3-4.

If it is possible, where can i do it and how much does it cost?
