Yo!! Just got my SPARK135.. WOOHOO!! hehehe. Abit too late for you guys rite. haha. Cant wait to project on the bike. Care to share where to get the parts coz not used to cubs, starting from the mirrors coz they look damn big like mickey mouse!!

Anyway a question for the running in. When reach 800 do you all just change the engine oil or go for servicing? Is servicing in cub context same like sportsbike? where the block and piston are taken out and clean?

Pls advice..

Thanks...

hey zai23 u got from who?

has anyone down the fork before?.. by how many cm? is there any other modifications needed to down the fork other den changing the fork oil?

spark135 is d most problematic bike to decrease ur front forks... but it'll be one of d coolest if its done.. had mine lowered a week after i got ma bike and yes..A LOT of stuffs has to be done if u want MAX. low-profileness..hehe.. but its worth it!.. local i dunno ..JB rm30. consisting of ..

1-removing unnecesary brackets and relocating sum cct.box above ur frnt fender

2-changing new and increasing fork oil level

3-"downing" d forks

my fren also down fork but his one no nd change any oil.. but the mechanic grind the top of the fork using the grind machine.. very cheap..

yap unlike x1, d topend of d forks muz be grinded off b4 lowering... so if u plan to DIY make sure u haf a grinder..

dwex: bro...yr fork lower until the allowance between the polelight fairing and front mudguard so little...will it result in the 2 fairings knocking aainst one another when going over humps?

=[ Honda CBR150R ]=

....=[ R E P S O L ]=....

Posted

dats d reason behind topping up of forkoil -> stiffer = less freeplay

as for d humps.. wats d hurry ! go very2 slow.. becareful of killerhumps at d customs!

Alternatively, u can simply remove ur front fender and lower more! juz dun get caught running arnd w/o a fender!

bro, ur moto clutch or not clutch?

yes.. clutch version..

dwex: nice looking bike bro.. since it has less freeplay that means u have a hard ride.. meaning u can feel almost all the bumps on the road as there's not much damping.. right?

i am also looking to down fork but won't be as drastic as bro Dwex...probably 2-3cm down..

Posted

ok.. yeah pretty hard...

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

i think with an inverted fork, we can get the same looks as Dwex's bike but without compromising with the damping of the fork but i heard inverted forks for cubs are quite unreliable as dust can set on the surface of the fork thus tearing the fork seal which then cause it to leak..

is there anyone beg to differ with my opinion?

i wonder if those thai-made showa forks are gd?....

would be a gd addition to the bike... looks very very gd..
