2008 Pegaso 650 VS VSTROM650

was wondering either 2008 Pegaso 650 or VSTROM650 is the better bike interms of maintences and durability. Understand that the Pegaso 650 uses Yamaha engine (XT660 i think) parts should be the same right? I was initially more or less confrim getting the Vstrom650(which need to wait for 3mth for the stock) but was surprise by ppl from MAh pte when they say that the Pegaso was cheaper than vstrom...

seems like aprilia getting cheaper...the pegaso 650 is more popular in penang than in singapore...not sure bout the parts...

maybe some current or ex pegaso owners can enlighten u..

 

vstrom 650 just perfect for singapore roads and for touring up north...

good fuel range for city riding...comfortable for touring ...

smoother engine compared to it's big brother...

in terms of parts...can get without much problem....other than that..there's always ebay (US)....too many vstrom parts circulating around US...

pegaso is single...was quote ard 12k and strom650 for 13-14k

If really at $12k, it's cheaper than the DR650.

 

I would think the Strom650 is superior than the Pegaso in most aspects but the Pegaso has alot of character.

OTR or machine price.

The last time I was at Mah, was almost persuaded to get the 2006 model.

It was $16500 OTR for me.

i think another good choice would be Yamaha Tenere...if it ever reach spore...
