Hi hi...Brother CoolOne...Thanks for your leads but the decision was not up to myself but our Brother Jumaat...and after his consultations with his brother-in-law, they've decided to have the Harley-Davidson Riders instead because his brother-in-law specifically wanted big cc bikers and since we here at this brotherhood forum are a mixture of small to big cc bikes, it wasn't appropriate to the requirements...Get what i'm saying my brother...

AND AS FOR MYSELF, I SPEAK ON BEHALF OF ALL OF OUR BROTHERS HERE IN THIS WONDERFUL FORUM...IT'S EITHER "ONE FOR ALL OR NOTHING AT ALL"...AND THAT'S MY DRIFT BROTHER...

To think my humble Yamaha "Fabulous-Joy-Ride" (look at my list of bikes in my signature...heehee...) cannot be considered as a "big-cc" bike comparing to the HDs.

haha... Just kidding with you, Bro armofpeace. :)

Just too bad my ride is a Yamaha tourer, not a HD. :)

Anyway, you enjoy your ride this Sunday. Cheers. :)

Hi hi...Brother SeahMH...I'm not a Harley-Davidson owner...I'm also a Yamaha cruiser owner and I'M NOT EVEN THINKING OF GOING THIS SUNDAY...So as to let you know my brother....But maybe, we can meet-up with our fellow brothers here at the forum and go for a good ride...WITHOUT DISCRIMINATION, THAT IS....

Ya lor, go some other place ride better. Some pple may already have taken leave from work or bought presents for the couple, but they are now not invited coz they are riding metric cruisers? What a let down.

learning to be a better rider.

You downgrading? I think I know why. I spoke with an ex-FJR rider last night and yup, FJR is fun to ride but hard to maintain, especially with fairing removal and the electronics. Somemore my friend sold it at a loss. Was thinking about getting the post 2006 FJR someday, but now, nah, I won't bother.

Yes, you are right. FJR is really fun to ride. But due to family's not knowing I am riding a bike, I cannot go touring so often, so to ride a FJR in Singapore w/o going for long trips is super super under-utilizing the bike.

Plus I agree it is really expensive to maintain even though I don't ride to work everyday.

However, I still have a lot a lot of installments left, so the only way is to downgrade to a smaller bike. Even for that to happen, I don't know whether the bike shop is willing to take back my ride or not. :)

dude, i think you mistaken. I meant to say, join the gang of riders who's parents dunno they ride. So if wanna go for a trip in malaysia, we tell our parents we go for "chalet" but actually go malacca or KL or hatyai or something. muahahaha. Or can say going bangkok for weekend holiday, but never say HOW we're getting there.

I actually hate chalets. lol. Chalets and bbq. Always not enough to sleep, not enough to eat. :p

Sorry, guys, :offtopic:

Bro, thanks for your suggestion of "chalet" and go Bangkok but never say how we are getting there.

I have used such excuses before. I even "lied" to my parents that I going to Hatyai by bus.

I have run out of excuses of "going chalets", "going Malacca", "going to Little Thailand to take bus to Hatyai", etc... Which is why I really dunno what excuse to use if I am going for another long trip... sighz...

Are you one of the gang of riders whose parents dunno we ride?? heehee...

Anyway, back to the topic of Wedding convoy. Since there is no more convoy for us, since we are NOT riding Harleys, who's interested for kopi on Sunday, just to la kopi and chat chat for a while? We must find a place where we can easily park all our different bikes, no discrimination of cc, no discrimination of race... cc of our hearts are more important.

Any suggestions of such place for easy parking of bikes?? Bukit Timah prata is a common place for bikers to met, since there are a few prata shops for our friends who are muslims. But then, parking at Bukit Timah may be an issue.

Hi hi....Brother SeahMH....The other day, i went to the old Dempsey Road which has been totally changed and i find that it would be a great place for our brothers here in this forum to meet-up coz ample parking spaces (FREE PARKING HOR!) and lots of choices for eating and drinking to choose from... Only that most of the outlets close quite early like 8pm or so....The other one that i also notice was MR. PRATA at BUKIT TIMAH ROAD very near to Botanic Garden....Open seating area and can park our bikes along the roadside during the weekends...Anyway, i'm game for a meet-up but do organise lah!!!!, and i'll definitely participate....Thanks brother...
