i tot it only happens to version s's brembo.. now spec 3 nissin oso kena..

 

This is nothing new. Its been going on for a few years oredy. Mine got stolen last year at Alexandra Industrial Park. Bike was towed there coz of coil problems and was left overnight till bikeshop opens in the morning. When I get there, discovered calipers missing. @%$% Talk about bad luck.

 

Police caught someone doing these dirty jobs sometime last year. A young rider who sells it in the net to forums overseas.. Thailand, Philippines, Indo.. etc. I wonder if its the same bas#@$% whos been released from jail doing the same job.

makes me fear about getting my next bike because I stay in same area as TS

talking abt bukit batok.. my bike got disturb.. kns.. some one stole my wrist band for my brake reservior.. and that bustard open the cap.. and cause my brake to haf air bubbles now.. curse the idiot.. btw i also stay bukit batok and my bike is park @ open air carpark.. and worst is.. i park @ crowded/walking area.. but no ppl bother one thou..

i hv seen they put lead into the bolt hole...

 

yes.. my previous bike my aprilia caliper also seal up with metal lead to prevent thief from stealing.. cos it's rounded bolt with sealed lead..

 

to fill up the bolt hole?

 

yap.. they hammer this lead in.. i did mine @ first motor i think $10.. inclusive of changing the bolt to a rounded head one.. then if u wana remove and wanna install back the lead it cost only $1..

Hi all S4 BRo, finally got my new Nisin Brake calipers fix ... This incident really break my heart and wallet...

 

The way i install the new caliper is like all other bro say one, inverted the screw and fix it inwards which means muz take out tyre den can instal one.. Forget to take picture of it,will go take and post up to let all Bros to have a look .. Now i everyday cover my bike and every one and then will take a look outside my window...

 

But what worry me now is my rear brake caliper, is there anyway to install in such a way that it is also veri difficult for thief to steal ??

 

Anyway abt the steal handlebar one, i have seem one bike at motorshop like that de, handlebar gone and the f**king thief juz cut every cable possible and then the 4screw to steal the handlebar ... See liao also shock ar...

 

But now this thief of stealing brake caliper happen to me !!!!

I feel for you mannn!...but also there are lots of other people lagi_terok...whole bike elan..the worst case I know is someone spec 2 only 3.5 months old stolen in W Malaysia...case almost a year while still paying installment...even no money to buy biscycle. Lately, met a Malay rider..Ver S stolen in JB..rice bowl doing courier..have to borrow money in the meantime to get a very old PB1 in order to bring becon home..sighhh.
