if u go on rainy days, if got chance they are pumping petrol from the oil tanker to the petrol station reservoir, they open the oil tanker to check the petrol thus rain water got into the petrol.

i dunno if u understand what i mean cos must really see it to know.

bottomline is dun go msia pump on rainy days

First petrol and water are not "solutable", water heavier than petrol so it will be segregated to the bottom even through you add it to petrol. And i believe al the big petrol company they should have one QA/QC system for all their products worldwise, as to retain their reputation, my frd working with Shell once told me there's "NO" diff from a SG Vpower to a MY Vpower, ofcos thsi is what he say la....but i have personally tried few times, eer to me not much difference, even sometime have i believe 90% is psychologically :)

yes, u r rite.

petrol n water don't mix.

pump stations' underground tank will acummulate water due to dew moisture or water slippage.

stations needs to do regular daily maintenance like check the water level in their tank n pump out excess water.

from my experiences, i had several occasions need to drain my carb's bowl after filled up from JB shell/caltex pump stations.

this led to my believes, water in their underground tanks r not pump out due to lack of maintenance.

nope that's not true. my fren works in the petrol industry and he tells me whatever sg is using, msia is exactly the same stuffs.

if you want to compare petrol between msia and sg, you should compare without knowing if the petrol u're using is sg or msian.

just wondering.. does your friend work in the m'sian petrol industry? not trying to be funny.. BUT shell v-power is blue and v-power racing is green.. same stuff? :dot:

Well its more worth going in to pump petrol in jb if u're living in the northern part of s'pore which seriously can turn into huge cost savings for those riding sports bike, IMY. as for me, one litre can fetch roughly 20km here n there. Juz me two cents

Practically is not easy to implement, say only....i think it will become a second gone case aft the RM20 entrance fee last time......Just ask those petrol station boss near custom, are they willing to loss all the sg customers cos of that? And if the gov die die want to do, then they can ask the station attendant to use their IC to pump for u, to them this is business to make money, hehe
