NOt so soon. but found 1 at around $2k. saving for it.

Seriuosly IMHO, i think it's better you reconsider fittin a flat side carb into ur 'Baby'. first off i think it's frikkin expensive to pay 2k for the carbs, and secondly from my understandin, Flat sides need constant tunin and in Singapore, 'good' tuners are expensive and hard to sought...it's a very 'track purpose only' kinda thing. Not to mention that u are probably not gonna change or do anything to ur cam & head...bear in mind that the zxr SP uses a different component in that aspect.

2k can get u a brand new stock carb for our model and that's from evershine... so i reckon it to be even less than that amount from other sources. Our stock Keihins are good enough stuffs and if u really want better performance out of it i suggest some basic changes like Full System wit a good tune and jetting. Getting that few extra Ponies out of the zxr 400 (which to begin with has loads of horses compared to other 400 imports) is not worth $2000 or even more like il4 mentioned. Unless u r think of instaling a Ram air system and a 444cc big bore, then thats :thumb: another thing altogether...

P.S:Sorry for my long post but just thought i'd share my opinion wit u. No offence ya.

And upz for ur new ride.

Hi Official,

How much is your machine price?

Surprise to hear to Looi's had Kawa. Went there 3-4 mths wif my fren who is lookin for R1, dun c any on level 4....

Wasn't at level 4. was at firsts floor actually. went to ask the ah-md and mr lee.

was quoted a special price by Mr Lee. Loois usually exports the zxr400 overseas. but he'll usually leave 1 or 2 for customers. last week he said he just exported 7 of them to South Africa.

Hey no prob i'm open to options too. Air ram is a near future. Well i'm like all others out there trying to search for a good full system too. The carbs are actually tempting but not so soon maybe when i got the extra cash and learn how to tune my baby properly first. otherwise it's in the pending list like my big boreing to 440. hehehe

Yeah I know but machine price is quite low so the expensive parts can be offset. Don't feel like getting RVF,FireBlade or even S4. Just wana try and ride a bigger capacity bikes for experience before going cl2 license. Wana lend urs?

Frankly speaking. The Jump from 2b to 2 is a bit too much to handle for some.

Not all most of them will find it hard to control, all ended up you know what.:giddy:

I aint scaring you, anyway it doesnt benefit me.

I seriously feel that you be better of with other 400cc.

ZXR400 is a fine machine in every aspect, however it is known to fry its rocker arm and cam. And the repair bills can come up to more then 1 grand.

I assure you that every ZXR400 will fry their cams and rocker arms.
