Hmmmm..that's what I tot too that all the while..PB1 is a heavier breed than the rest of the Vtec family....surprising no(saw the spec comparison sometime back)...its lighter. May be the PB1 just look "hunky" and less streamline thus less sporty looking than the Vtecs.

i have a 3-point grounding but my stebel horns doesn't work at idling rpm.. i need to rev in order for the horns to work..

 

anyone knows what is the cause of it?

05.04 - 08.04: Honda Wave S (FV)

08.04 - 05.09: Honda Version S (FP)

i tink im going to go with RevTec...

do grounding, install RevTec, den do power cut...

wat do u tink? any comments? plz advice...

 

aniwae anyone interested in buying RevTec too?

maybe we can get discount if buy more...

Do grounding I strongly recommend :angel: ...RevTec not neccessaryo_O ... but "do power cut"..what's that?...most people undo and you want to do? :faint:

i remember there's a relay installed for my horns..

 

i went to equipment extreme b4 @ depot road and the guy told me to install the power abuser.. i wonder if there's any cheaper alternative..

If there is...may be connect sa_la liao o_O If you rev and then the horn louder...its either your battery is weak or the alternator is providing supply to your horn. The relay suppose to isolate all supply til the horn button is hit.

 

Revtec?...do grounding first lah...when you feel the difference..don't need revtec lah.:cool:

if ur horns r fine 3 years ago, then somewhere is faulty. did u check the wiring? relay?

PGO Gmax 150: Sept 05 - Dec 05

Honda Super 4 Vtec 1: Nov 05 - Apr 07

Suzuki GSR 400: Apr 07 - Dec 09

Yamaha FZ1S: Nov 09 - May 13

May be the horn has serve it time olehdee or shorted internally (water) and become a load. Horn with the plastic housing one mostly have this problem and rust internally easily.

 

The next pair of horn you change..get the Hella open face $20.00 one (its what I'm using)..its very water resistance to open use..blooming loud but must use wit relay. Available at Mustafah.

the ground isn't done by me.. i paid someone to DIY for me.. :lol: for grounding, i can only remember the lug starts from the negative end to one of my engine screws..

 

if buy at mustafah den need to install at where? i'm a noob to DIY.. i only know how to ride and knowledge of basic maintenance.. :sweat:
