when should we have a session at West Coast.? so far they r rated one of the good saloon to have a good session with, am i right redname..?

hehe, increase game perfection also is ur own game mah, not ours. we no personal cue leh, unless someone can teach me how to carry a 3/4 cue on bike

I still feel that the best way to improve at pool is to play regularly with players who are better than you. VERY regularly. And as your skill improves you need to find better people to play against. Same as anything really, bikes, blading etc. And the best way to become crap again is to stop. I know this one from experience.

mambo is it? u mention bout playing with better players, so i assume u play with those few s'pore youth team players at there lah? i used to join them during my peak period cause i have a fren from the youth team also, everytime kenna 5-3 or 5-4 from them, jialat jialat one

redname> Nah, I used to flatshare with an American dude who's uncle made his living from playing pool in the US and had trained him to make money while he was at college by doing the same thing. Anyway, we had a pool table in our apartment and used to play 5-10 games each night. Back then I would also regularly go out to bars and play pool and I could keep the table for the entire night. Trouble for me is that if I don't play a few times a week my skill level drops off VERY quickly. Some ppl seem to be able to take a break from the game and not have it affect them very much... not me. =( Now I only play a few times a year and I can't win a single game in a pub where the level of play is any good.

Those guys would kick my arse so severely it's not funny and I feel embarrased to take my own cue along. Basically I can still play but only against very average players. Still love the game though and would love to play more often.
