Spark 135 Problems & Solutions

Yea.. very awkward indeed.. especially true when there is a jam and there are no spaces to squeeze in between. You have no choice but to follow behind and at 30-40km.. tat's when the jerking made u so sianz cause it's so damn awkward... well, wat u said of jerking at 120km i can understand too.. the jerk is not so terrible but you can actually feel & hear it.. like the engine kena punch like tat.. some mechanic says it's normal.. but other bikes I've ridden isn't so.. maybe spark is made so? Anyway gonna get it overhaul still no matter got problem a not.

anyway, i got 1 story.... true story.. ehem2..

my fren bought x1r last year, plate fbb7***.. since then, he only change engine oil just twice, once was october the other was last month.. he only uses mineral base engine oil.. to his surplise ah, the last engine oil change, his mech found out when he opened the drain cap, the thing that came out was in drips not gushes... how come ah? bike eat engine oil ah? i tot only those cubs without radiator face this problem? scary stuff man.. since spark n x1r engine relatively the same, scared this happened to me also man.. i using fully synthetic, n i do check my eo level often.. change eo once a month..

 

y this happen ah? does it only happen to bikes dat use mineral based eo? or izzit due to not sending bike for service often? can find out by ourselves or not whether our radiator fan runs once the thermosensor kicks in?

 

i repost again, just in case people overlooked this serious problem..

do u guys hav a very awkward vibration, jerking after 120? they say its normal but to the looks of it, kinda dangerous. like playing horse like that.

i went to several bike shop, dey also say nothing wrong. they jus push here push there, never even start the engine, den dey say nothing wrong. i mean we ride the bike, we know gt diff , am i ryte? but when i go yamaha service centre, they really listen to our prob, den they bring the bike for test ride themselves. bro, u dun wanna try drop by at ysc first, maybe u dun need to overhaul. whats ur plate? still gt warranty?

wah that serious ah.. so far.. i gt one fren whose bike eo kena eat also.. but he riding X1.. my other frens riding spark and x1-r so far no prob.

my vibration at 120 and above may not seem like a prob if i wanna ride normally. but sometimes circumstances may require you to speed, so going 120 stably (got such word or not?) is a must.

 

btw going 120 on my sparky may seem like im going 90 - 100 on my old tzm. haha

datz y ur EO no more....change it regularly...

hi guys, at what milage should we service the carb? my hands itchy la last time to take out the air filter, now my bike feels like screaming everytime i reach 100km/h.. advice anyone?

did a full service on my spark135 and later that night my bike starts to jerk n feels like petrol never go in so went back to e shop on tue n they open up my carburetor to check n do e air/petrol tuning , frm eunos to kovan so far so gd but when i rch hougang e prob starts again, i was so frustrated coz seems like e shop doesnt noe wat e prob is afta i went der e 2nd time so i end up towing my bike to wing yap, after azizi did a check on my bike, do u guys noe wer e prob lies? itz e damn spark plug! n its an ows spark plug, after changing it, my bike is back to normal now, hope tiz is a useful info to all spark riders,

Haha. It depends, if you are going there for servicing, then you need to call up thier place to book for appointment. Jus to warn, thier bookings are usually fully book. But if u want to do general repair like my bike jerk2 dat time den you can just ride in. Dun worry they are all professionals. Unless u ride ur honda bike go there then ask them repair then they will shoo u away.. haha:angel:

shud b guess due to ur carb not set properly lor..

plus ows 'fire' is quite big i supposed la..

hmm i got this problem when i am at 100km/h to 120 i close throttle den open to 3/4 like tat sure jam 1- 2 second its like the fuel respond slow like tat sia is that normal a not ?

Hmmmm... I did the full service for my X1-R and i'm currently using the OWS spark plug. Till now I have no problems. In fact, after the service my bike performed better!

wen i went der e 2nd time, e guy service my carb again but e prob still persist, only afta changing spark plug then itz cured, mayb my bike r like humans, very fussy hahahaha
