Market price for a 10 yr old bandit would generally range between $1000 to $2500, depending on condition. ;)

 

I personally havn't seen a SV400 on our roads before, maybe I havn't been riding much on our roads. :D

 

But I've seen SV600 n SV1000 around.

 

o...then is it ok 2 juz get a old bandit 2 ride 4 a yr then upgrade coz mi ultimate goal is a cl2 bikey... :sweat:

if get a old bandit wil hav a lot of problem anot?? :confused:

It is inevitable that old bike will have some problems. Nowadays even new bikes might have problems.

U can get anybike to ride for one year, den upgade to a Class 2. Not necessary to get a bandit.

Even if u stop riding for one year, u still can go for your Class 2 test.

mine is a FQ plate one... not problematic... if u look hard enuff, u should be able to get an oky one for a cheap price...

My bandit's fixed i guess, hopefully it doesnt screw up anymore. Now itz purring along fine :D Thx to rg too

 

We guys really need to meet up. Itz been a long time. howz next weekend? sat or sunday shld be ok wif me. Hope to c the other fellas too like douglas and jenni

can sense my bike got some problem.. anyone can offer any advise ?

 

1) rpm is unstable (higher than usual)

2) fuel consumption higher than normal (using gsx--as comparison)

3) the bike feels choppy (as sense from foot rest) when changing gear from 1st to 3rd range

 

anyone have these symptoms before ?

RG, just wanted to check with you. I called up pleasure smotorsports and they told me the bt090 is not recommended for our bandits as itz too soft. wat do u think? theye wer not even willing to give me a price quote :pity:

from my limited knowledge, i think u had better send yr bike in for a tune-up, ie wash yr carb and get it tuned + engine oil change maybe? try and stick to a 3000km change regime. it helps to extend the bike's lifespan.. yr air filter maybe due for a wash/replacement too

wat did u tell them u going to use the tyre for? :?

or maybe they not interested in doing business wif u? :lol:

The BT090 is recomended by our expert here in SBF, and I trust him. :thumb:
