helping my friend ask around, a year 2009 registered street stripe R, mileage 10k, stock condition, how much if sell in the forum? can sell at 15k or not??

10 dec so far looks good for me, keep me posted .. The tea tarik and cheese prata a be ideal and a short ride about. I'll ask if my neighbor whose riding a moto guzzi if he's keen in joing too.

Brand new nike is going for ard 20k now... so work around it.. just dun let go tto cheap.. affects the bros here intending to sell later on..

 

Anyway, i read that there ia gearbox recall going on in UK for 2009 up street triple..

Wonder if Mah will notify us directly or do we need to go back and ask?

My bike needs the modification, so have contacted Mah and now wait for their reply.

The bike is fine, I guess its something that can fail though, this could lead to a mess in the motor or , indeed, a mess on the road.

I'll inform the forum of the response.

dammit...still not quite got to 800 kms for my first Trumpet service! ....weather crap and work gets in the way.....still shouldn't be too long now! :-)

 

sliders on, changed horn (just felt like it), tail tidy waiting for me at Mah's......add a few more miles then its time for the Arrow slip ons......mid life crisis? definitely, ha!

U will enjoy your ride more once the arrows are fitted in, I'd prefer a full system than the slip ons tho.. Evil grin kekeke..go easy and enjoy your ride brucey.

I actually drain out the oils when i did only 300km.. so you dun actually have to follow the service log to the dot.

Go pamper your love with some fresh oils...

For your tail tidy, which did you ask Mah to get for you? How much u paid for it.. I still have not gotten my tail tidy sorted ...

It's the R&G tail tidy, look online under http://www.rg-racing.com, R&G parts are good I've had several in the past. Have not paid yet and can't remember what Eugene quoted me...will have to check my messages, think around S$200+, but it worked out no more than the price in the UK (120 sterling net)....so works for me. Changing oil early not a bad idea, but also keen to get them to tighten a few things up too....
