I decided to start this thread as there are virtually no specific thread on our Kawasaki Super Kips in the Bike Specs & Reviews section. I hope that we can contribute to all the Pros & Cons based on individual experience while riding our Kawasaki Super Kips 150cc!!

Allow me to share my views on Kawasaki Super KIPS 150cc

 

Pros:

Light and maneuverable. Very responsive throttle and armed with powerful KIPS valve.

Relatively good petrol consumption.

 

Cons:

Constantly needs to activate Choke system to start the engine after it cooled down.

sorry to ask, really curious . wat the different between kr and kipes? isn't it the same bike? just tt different give different name?

 

same bike lah, just that kr uses KIPS valve, so ppl also call kr KIPS, actually kr is the correct name

For ur info, KIPS stands for Kawasaki Integrated Power Valve System!!

The first of its kind for a 150cc bike.

KIPS known counterpart is also Vtec of Honda.

all these fancy names are valves only wat, the names make them sounds special

the kips valve got do any major diff? btw then kr kips still gt production or also stop le? or tt is the new de? sorry for my little knowledge and u all have to reply. haha

u can still find a brand new kr if u noe where to find it.. 6k on the road..

no diff, its only a valve

if nt wrong kr, tzm and nsr bo production le. heard my friend say nsr stop production around 2003 and kr around 2006
