Don't mention bro.

Found this other pic of the 08 Blade with a different side cowl and a sleeker and sharper nose.

one of the pics (red one) was posted with an akrapovic motogp style exhaust. the exhaust is out even before the bike is released?

Care to post the pic?

On the topic of exhaust, I hope I'm wrong, from the pix, it appears the exhaust outlet is pointing outwards. This is a no no, the pulses disrupts the aerodynamic bubble.

I realized the full system Arrow on a friend's ex K3 does the same thing, which makes me wonder if Arrow really makes good pipes. The Yoshis I've noticed point correctly towards the centre from the back.

Just my observation.

I had a chance to get on a friend's 1098 recently, and he, a chance to get on my mighty Blade.

After we got off the bikes and took off the helmets, we were both eager to hear what we thought of each other's bikes.

The 1st thing he asked was, did you drop your bike? I was like "ouch ... hell no"! Apparently my front tire has squared off from too much street use and no track use. After he told me, I began to notice it, turning left is easier than turning right. I guess that corner we play at during the usual Sat makan helped round the left side of the front tire, but the lack of right turns squared off the right side of the tire.

When he was on my Blade, I realized how good the RR sounds, he agreed, he only noticed how good his 1098 sounds when riding behind me. LOL.

The tank on the 1098 felt really slim, that was the 1st noticeable thing when I hopped on. The throttle felt very stiff, not as easy to twist as the Blade. Moving off, there's a massive amount of torque, definitely felt more rush than the Blade. But he has been saying it wheelies a lot. Too much wheelies are not a good thing, maybe the chassis is not efficient in putting all that power down? I'm just guessing here.

The whole bike vibrates a lot, the images on the bat ears (mirrors) are a real blur while riding. The bike definitely feels very eager to turn in. But his tires are well rounded from track use, and he's got Marchesinis.

This is what I can remember. This write-up is not to say which bike is better, just my observations.

Given time, a body is able to adjust to a new bike / riding position, that 5 mins I had on the 1098 is not conclusive, but I was glad to jump back on the Blade, I'm sure he felt the same.

Tashi, wait till you try a K7, you won't want to ride anything else after that...

Tashi, wait till you try a supermotard, you won't want to ride anything else after that coz you realise that it takes skill to go fast on them.

The rest just require a heavy fist on the throttle.

In Singapore or else someone seems to be funny. He mentioned the first 08 Blades just arrived with a photoshopped picture of the 2008 boxes.

New 600!!!

Wah! its the new K8 600?

"Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It is a very mean and nasty place and it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't how hard you hit; it's about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward. How much you can take, and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done. Now, if you know what you're worth, then go out and get what you're worth. But you gotta be willing to take the hit, and not pointing fingers saying you ain't where you are because of him, or her, or anybody. Cowards do that!"

Morning guys

I finally got my coil replaced FOC on Thursday...

wanna say thanks to foofrancis and tashi for the help and advise.

But today i saw something strange in my voltmeter :giddy: is this the new "coil + flywheel" original action?

My voltmeter show still 12 after started the bike, den when half clutch travel drop to 10.8+++, den back to 12... but after sometime's, it went back to 13.4 sometime's 14. is it that the new coil will stop battery charging when battery is full to prevent back flow electricity cause by the battery??? or is it the coil is going to burn again SOON!

any 1 change from mah motor got any comment about the new coil??? voltmeter??? :giddy:

vrooooom, another round, never slow down

Knock'em down in .01 seconds

Let's leave our mark here and disappear to the next group

The loser's left crawling on the ground in a cloud of dust

The wannabes are all talk, They just get in the way so let's ignore'em

We takes off, beyond the street

Only den they'll know!
