Just a personel survey, Do u guys trust the Electronics Stuff in now adays bike :argue:

I can feel the H.E.S.D power on the road when return from 2nd link the hump when on 240km/h, its totally still. where as i tried my friend k4 at around the same speed, felt abit of tank slapping. Correct me if i'm wrong. i Got my class 2 on march only...

I've never had a tankslap on my 04 or 06 Blade, I guess it's working.

I'm sure A***** from BS can fix your coil issue, unless you're telling me the latest coil is also giving problems.

vrooooom, another round, never slow down

Knock'em down in .01 seconds

Let's leave our mark here and disappear to the next group

The loser's left crawling on the ground in a cloud of dust

The wannabes are all talk, They just get in the way so let's ignore'em

We takes off, beyond the street

Only den they'll know!

wah lau even the repsol colors out liao, so means confirmed la.. anyways, i thought the RR8 supposed to be released today on the honda webbie? i still see no 08 cbr1000 lei... i still feel that the 04-05 models look the nicest. the 06 models onwards have a lot of visible nuts on the engine and crank covers, not so nice for a sportsbike bah..

does anyone notice a lot of copycat styling on the fairings? 07 r1 mix with k7 head, r6 rear (with ugly spaceship docking no. plate holder)

:/

This morning, I had the high res 08 Blade pix running as screensaver, alternating from the red and silver models, trying hard to convince myself that they actually look good. And I thought I had succeeded ... until I look at pix of my 06 Blade, and all of a sudden, the 08 Blade looks ugly all over again.

But after the visit at Mah open house this morning, my hopes went up again. I didn't know that the guy whom I had bought 3 Blades from could speak Japanese. I showed him the pix from this thread, and he said he was in Honda Japan a couple months back, and the prototype he saw didn't look like that. He described the 08 Blade's front looking like the R1, and it had 2 exhausts.

Dismissing these pix as crap, very smugly, he took out his mobile phone and immediately called up some guy from Honda Japan, he asked for the specs to be sent to him on Monday. I hope to see something different when I see him again.

According to him, the 08 Blade will not go into production till Jan 08. The factory has been scheduled to churn out 07 Blades till year end. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for now.

Hey tashi, you really done your homework well, at least after read your quote,

I can breath a new fresh air. There still hope on 08 new design rather then those "parrot of the carribean"......:faint:

We are getting the parrot for 08 apparently. I think my dealer saw the prototype at the factory. That was a couple of months back. Apparently many ppl have sat on the parrot and had confirmed this is the one that will hit the streets next year.

maybe honda have spent too much on the recall of the coil for the older blade which lead them cut the cost of their design team ...ha...ha..

they may produce a very good bike which will win them races for superbike but i don't think the sales for this bike will surpass the older model.

Pathetic.

What a total turnoff.

Honda's design department must be really running out of ideas.

I think my DRZ looks better than a CBR1000RR for once. :giddy:

Is this the new 08 ZX-10? Marchesini rims and single sided swingarm. Time to try something different?

Cannot be Marchesinis... Japs will never support a foreign country's product by putting them on their bikes.

Looks more like an overgrown SP150 swingarm complete with rims though. :giddy:

The Limited Edition R1 actually had gold Marchesini. I'll bet with you a set of Marchesini for my Blade.

Now all seems to change from under-tailed exhaust back to side exhaust.

These are the years when a boy changes into the man he's gonna become the rest of his life, just be careful who you change into. Remember with great power comes great responsibility.

Did anyone notice this, on the US Honda page, they no longer have the 07 RC51 model. Perhaps there will an 08 RVF1000RR.

they've also removed the cbr600f4i.

on the other hand, the 07 'blade is still there, even tho we all know a replacement is coming up.

no point speculating. they'll come when they come....

It's true: it's more fun to ride a slow bike fast than to ride a fast bike slow. Admittedly, though... It is MOST fun to ride a fast bike fast!
