Hi Martin, Have seen u asked several times about selling your stock 04 exhaust.... U have already posted in garage sales so can wait for some CBR 1k bros to contact u if they are interested.... U wan to dispose off immediately then maybe u can give it away or reduce your price.... $800 for a stock exhuast is a very high price.... It can almost buy a brand new aftermarket exhaust and given the choice, anyone would choose the latter....... just my 2 cents..... good luck in yr sales......

Sorry to say that....i dont think got ppl lookinf for OEM exhaust lor. Most ppl are looking for after market exhaust. even u give to bike shop they oso feel taking up their space in the shop. I think is really hard to sell....

what tyre u using and how long u been using it? For what i know tyre do play apart. or could it be your rim bearing is gone???

 

dc3, front tire for abt a year, rear around 3mths... hmmmz, doubt tis the bearing coz i just change like 5mths ago... if its the cone bearing all this, it can be felt at low speed also... tats y doubt it is the problem as vibrations only at 200+... who noes maybe its the engine problem.....

 

hmmz, maybe i set the settings too hard... try soften it up and see how it goes... anyway thanks to everyone for e help rendered.

For those riding CBR 1000 2008, this message is for you. Me and DenverDio are ordering Hotbodies Read Hugger for our bikes from Bike LAb who are distributers for Hotbodies(USA) in Singapore. We hope to solve the irritating problem of mud splashing updwards onto our bikes undertail and shock linkage. The rear hugger we are ordering can be seen in the link below. We are ordering the unpainted version which is only $79.95USD, as it is $100USD cheaper than the painted version. We intend to save money by either diy paint with spray can ($5) or getting it professionally painted in Singapore($40). It makes more sense then to pay $100USD for the painted version! Yes, it will affect handling. If the balancing is out, the wheel will wobble. The faster the wheel turn, the wobble will become worse. This is due to the rotational force.

There's an even better way to check this. I can't remember the startup sequence, I posted it here few years back.

 

Something like, shift to 1st gear, full throttle, then turn key to on. Or maybe have to clutch in or apply rear break. Try a few combinations and you might get it.

 

When done correctly, the light on the dash will blink for 10 secs, and while it is blinking, the HESD will be in full damping effect. you can move the steering lock to lock to feel it.
