Then crosswinds would be your greatest enemy if you use that... You can try Ban Hock Hin. The Starhub box I think would look gd.

starhub box there is a yellow s4 in yew tee area he is using that i ever asked him he says he got it at ban hock hin also but costing $800 ard there sooo expensive.. but his set up cannot have pillion..

 

im thinking of putting like the transnational box and having hepco aluminium type side panniers... but still planning only....

hey guys, i thinking of putting box on my s4. noob to all this. so any recommendation of brand and model? also include the price. i want it able to put 2 helmet inside. thanks guys! =)

Best bang for your buck would be the Givi E450 or Kappa K46. Not too big nor too small and can fit 2 helmets.

Attached is the box pictured taken at Mah...few months ago...tried to zoom the pic and checked the price...but my hp pic quality is SUCKS lols...anyway cant remember it...if u were to flip back i believe i used to share the price...was interested in it back then hehe....

guys... after seeing the new CB13 ST, am tinking of dropping my wings & change to the V.... :lovestruck: ...

 

bt bt bt... pricing & possibility is holding me back...

checked with Elyn, boxes only, $680(GST nt included), rack's another price, & hv to see which model can retro-fit to my bike... :giddy:

 

yet to ask ASP Toh Guan how much for the K33...

 

then, there's another problem, since the rack is nt yet R&D to attach rear base plate for rear box, hv to get another rack for the rear box...

 

wah wah wah... so many problems, so little time & $$...

so how? change to a new setup by going thru all the hassle all over again? or just use what i hv now?

Hey bro... i browse the garage sale recently...found someone selling it for $600 plus rack...came off from a VFR...tried searching it...but could not find it ley...paisey...u might want to check it out....

updates:

 

had checked with the friendly kappa salesman @ ASP TG, we did some comparing with the racks he have, Fazer & GSR, & only GSR comes close.

however, there's still some "modifications" needed.

So after some discussion, what we narrowed down would be:

 

1) Check with SKMIC, if they can bend a rack into same shape;

2) If they could, bring dwn a sample;

3) Park my bike there for 1-2 days & let them fabricate.

 

But problem now would be, "What is the cost?"

 

Kappa's rack & boxes are relatively slightly cheaper than Givi's, & I wonder why when they are sister company sharing the same design & technology used. :rolleyes:

 

There's also the rear indicator(signal) light relocator brackets to fabricate too..

 

A rough gauge of total max cost would damage my pocket, abt approx. 900-1K SGD...

wingrack cannot hold V series boxes? i think the price to customise to fit on your bike is too steep.. you can consider changing bikes already.. heh..

Rat bike - A motorcycle not necessarily kept in pristine condition, often painted matt black. Minimal maintenance and mismatched parts often used.

Wow!!, this is lovely, is a dream bike, the pillion would be very comfortable as well. It comes with back rest, just marvellous. At 1300, the smoothness and power are never doubtful, plus the 36-24-36 size to manoeuvre vehicles...wow!!! I just love her...

no, the V boxes are contoured. & so are its racks.

the normal wingracks are straight, so therefore it cant fit..

 

well, mayb hv to maximise my PR skills for a gud "frenship" price... :lol:

Hahaha~!

 

I now itchy to convert to full-time panniers only using the Kappa K33 or the Givi V35 like the CB1300 Sepr Touring. Was thinking of letting my set-up go to make way for the countoured panniers. Anyone wanna offer me something I cannot resist? Will throw in a 1-to-1 swap of the lowered exhaust + my labour... (For Spec III only)

 

Bought the E36 cases for $80 a pair.

WingRack got it for $250. (Is the price correct Khai? Can't remember...)

Sent to SKMIC to lower my exhaust and custom fit back for $150.
