Planning to get H&B top box for my vtec III. Fazli got tell me before must mod the rack but am not too sure how to do it ah. Anyone can guide me?

 

The best guide and advise you can get is from Seng Kwang themselves. They've been doin a lot of customised work for H&B boxes racks which do not have bike specific racks on sale.

anyone know the price for e21 box with bracket and rack set for spec1 ?

 

new and 2nd one

 

anyway i see alot s4 setup with 3 box the bike can take the weight with pillion ?

 

must put full system to increase power ? or stock can liao ?

Yes it'll affect more or less.

Depending on what you'll be putting in the boxes.

Dont really have to use a FS to help. Stock also can.

But bear in mind, as Spec 1 does not have the pillion grip for the mounting point on top, it'll use the bungee cord point below, and due to stress, it'll break easily, and no matter hw many times it's weld back, it'll still break.

So, this is one point you have to tk note.

Also, you may want to lower the exhaust as if the boxes are just mounted on, it'll be a hassle for the pillion to mount/dismount.

i use e41 with stock....can clear meter liao ehhe...

not really, just look @ s4vtec aka Thomas's bike setup.

I believe there's also a couple on Spec 1 with side setups too..

I have also seen a number of Spec II and earlier models with pannier setup. Some are even on H&B Junior panniers.

I last time intend to do H&B Junior Panniers but was quoted for the rack itself too xpensive for me... Hahah... But then now I just use Givi Saddle Bags...

Oh yes, forgot to inform you. My fren sold off his wingrack liao. Either ways, Givi or H&B or any other brand racks, they do cost a bomb.

im currently on h&b top box(gobi)..i did the sidebox using xplorer..did everythin ard 2k. means custom racks + boxes(gobi and 2 xplorers) = 2k. hope this helps.

i have a spec1 givi rack if any1 is interested..

Rat bike - A motorcycle not necessarily kept in pristine condition, often painted matt black. Minimal maintenance and mismatched parts often used.

All bros, how much in typical does a box bracket cost and where is the cheapest I can install in town? Don't wanna change but one of the screw thread is rounded, so it's bery loose and tha whole box feels flimsy while on the move... Lost.., ;(

anyone pls advise, thank you!

Box rack for a brand new one will set you back ard 70-90 bux for Kappa or Givi (Spec III).
