thing is, u cant even pillion if u really install via that way, cos frm the SCDF bikes, they hv even customize it either over the pillion seat or single seater.

not the full set, just the side wing racks.

they mounted it onto the "n" shape rack so that the wing rack wont flex when in overfull load...

now only the fire bikes are S4s, the paramedic bikes hv been converted to the Piaggio Mp3 iirc..

Where to buy givi pannier e36?

anybody here can help.

I thought the e36 is an old model? Not sure if still can get it brand new.

I have a pair of e41 if you are interested.

Because of him the lame walked briskly,

And the songless through him burst into melody.

Hi guys.. New to this thread. Yesterday went to install 2 side boxes on the Honda Tiger (my bf's one - nbk3).. We decided to install on the front to balance the weight + save money from crash bar.. Here are some pictures to share..

Kappa 21L + SB 2000.. Overall $200. Done at HTH motoring.

wouldnt it flex wildly when OTR?

as I dont see any cross over bars to compensate the the flexing or rigid the structure.

Yes, I share the same views...

IMHO, Having the Boxes mounted next the tank causes more aerodynamic drag and it'll definitely affects the bike's handling one way or the other.

Having no cross retaining bar to hold up the E21 will only cause it to "Cave" in under "Load".

No motorcycle companies has designed the side panniers to be mounted this way for a few very good reasons...

Please reconsider...

Cheers!

With the right mounting to the body frame, I guess there's no need for a cross retaining bar.

Most tourers like St/Fjr/Kawa do not have this retaining bar.

http://img.tapatalk.com/c0370e24-f1d5-30d8.jpg

From Fjr, 2 hooks to body frame and 1 groove for mount to back footrest.

The only reason I can think of why panniers are at the back is weight distribution and cosmetic obviously.

Kiddos to kittykat bf for daring to mount that way..seen some on overseas bike b4 mount on pulsars.

Just my 1ct worth.

Ps: need to change front tire more often.. :p
