Seriously to me they are kinda of bo liao lah. We bought the bike or car with our own money, why can't we do what we want to our vehicle leh. I also admit without them singapore road will be chaos, but seriously there no need to catch exhaust or vehicle mod lah. Sometimes i'm just wondering do they earn their salary by commission de, cos they seem very desperate to catch ppl leh. They don't have to care what we do to our vehicle, as long we follow the rules on the road can liao le.

i think its a normal reaction by motorist since our law enforcer basically uses white vehicles. they're more responsive when they see white vehicles, either move to the side or slow down.

 

so if u want ppl to give way to u... buy a white saloon car, a white st1100 or a white fjr 1300.

 

dont forget ur white helmet.

TP would just summon u on the road rules but ROV on ur modification..to me TP very nice..but whenever i see rov...i v.scared although my bike stock..they not happy can jus sae ur anitg wrong...

hmmm... the only time i got stopped by rov is when i was riding my gsxr 400... the stupid rov caught me for not having a mudguard under the no. plate. He was bery guai lan also. I pleaded for chance cos i did not know that the no plate so long still need mudguard... somemore i just bought the bike for a couple of months only... guess what he said... "I summon u, so now u know" and smiling all the way.... That shut me up as i knew he wun give chance one... lan lan pay up lor.

Relax!

guys! i was riding along sims avenue.. at the traffic light i saw this guy in a TP uniform on a bike.. the bike was like a chopper.. it could not be his bike as ter was a huge blinker behind it.. it looked like a suzuki gn125 to me.. s tat the nw police bike.. or jus another lift technician?

u noe d rov plate number.. y not we start listing the guai lan rovs.. so far is rov 2

agree with u ROV 2 very guai lan plus lao lan la, the way he talk very impatient la. but he's kind enough to wait for me n my bf to get our fren to fetch us back, to go back as my bf's bike was confiscated & handed to LTA cos of driving w/o lic. =X he looks like a santa claus in that outfit. miss this bike & praying hard that nth will happen to my bf. =X

i dun like to see both of em at all!!

 

firstly they will sure stop young ppl riding class 2B bikes esp the 2 strokes catergory..like me!

 

secondly.. they will waste my time..

 

thirdly.. i got no mirrors on my bike.. except for a small foldable bicycle mirror!

Not all ROV are bad la, got once my sis and I wore half helmets ( which apparently we been using differen kinds of half helmet for 3 yrs) heng heng that day the ROV stop beside us, the officer just ask us to tie tightly and give us a smile and say ride safe then go off liao... :sweat: heng~ heng~

 

But come to think about it, I think as long as you are not doing anything against regulation, i don think need to be afraid of them. To me money is not an issue, is my demerit points that i most concern!~ hahahaha! :cheeky:

 

But I do agree sometimes there are just too much restrictions, take COE for example! argh... why have 10 years life span when we already paid for what we own... governement everything also wnana Chap ji ka (Wanna Share with citizen) :offtopic:

I feel that it is dependent of human nature. Law enforcers are human beings too and they will have mood swings. So if they locked their sights on you...God bless you. :cheeky:

I have met both with TP and ROV with a few negative experiences but nevertheless, SG roads can't do without them. I will still prefer them to be on the ground patrolling rather than standing on top of overhead bridges taking photos of speeding motorists.

Felt that when they implement this mobile speed cam, vehicles move slower but more inconsiderately. Tailgating also happens more frequently. :nono:

It is better to keep quiet and remain a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubts...
