I met up with other singaporean bikers in KLuang. the ang moh is interested in my bike eventhough its a 250 and hes riding a cb400 which he mentions as 'a cheap bike'.

 

Dude - Sorry about that. I had reached KL at 9 after a bloody lengthy detour. I took the wrong exit to PJ and went to GOD KNOWS WHERE ALL. Anyway, this will hard to believe... But i lost my way to the NS expressway and went a few rounds in JB as well. I think NOW i know... i left some markers along the way so I can retrace during my next riding session.

 

Well.. For obvious reasons - my wife is against me riding to KL.. So when i got home, i had to pretend that I was "not tired" at all which I did. But truth cant be hidden for long fellas. I told her, I will take her for a movie, go and get dressed. By the time she was back - i was in wonderland.. SO DOUBLE TROUBLE... Anyway, thats how I missed Gaban's call.

 

My wife said, sunday afternoon looks damn nice. Leave now and it wont be hot. After having a dark tan from riding SG - KL i thought thats a great idea. Until seramban, all GOOD.. Then hell break loose almost all the way til JB. But i think I tested the bike in some fierce weather and the bike stands tall.

almost lost my balance when i went over a slippery driain cover and the road was uneven...

i was turning left and my front wheel went over the centre of the drain cover and i was heading towards my right to head for the carparl entrance when my rear wheel went over the cover near the edge where the road was uneven...

hit the uneven part almost fell...

Hi all, i got a ug3 180..... recently the when i change gear i can feel the power transmitted from engine to wheel slightly and mildly on/off.... is it worn clutch plate ??

Its strange, COE prices are going up yet used bikes are difficult to sell. If you look at the garage sales section, hardly any deals are getting closed and people are lowering prices. Guess no one likes to ride here.

 

I am wondering how much will i get when the time come to sell my bike

Turns out i was right.

But both ah tek and MJ's face when i said that -> priceless, even days after it I still remember the look you exchanged with him it makes me laugh hahaha.. ..

my late grandfather used to ride his old China made bicycle from Pontian to Singapore to visit my parents ..... reason is becos my mother married to my father at the aged of 14 .... so he loves his daughter so much that he will visit them when he missed her and at that time no highway lah ....

ride slowly to kl la..110km/h..u go all the pitstop also wun be more than 6hrs..coming back in a day..make sure ur lights are in workin condition..along the NSHW, onli at the RnR places got lamppost..e rest of the time pitch dark..BEST!

In July, I will qualify to take up 2A, lah, so once I get my 2A I will sell off this bike and look for a good deal for a class 2A bike.

I felt the same couple of months ago and then got to know that the reason was my air filter was flooded with engine oil so not enough air flow for the combustion.

 

Try looking at the usual suspects; air filter, spark plug, engine oil, tighten chain, afr ratio. Once all these are fine then go next level like clutch wear and compression tests, could be time for overhaul too.

alvin..i got a reply from the supplier alrdy..as u noe on the tank mount got 5 holes rite..2 on each side n 1 on the top side..hence..the bottom 2 side the length is 8.5cm..the next 2 is 6.9 cm. the top hole height to the bracket to hold the camera is 3.6cm. i did some measurements n i found out dat the the 4 holes on each side are quite close to each other..not equally spaced out wif the top hole as well..i hope im makin sense..when we meet i'll try to explain
