TO ALL ...... Please consider to invest a riding pants, a riding jacket , gloves and shoes !!! ..... the amount you spent can at the least protect your lovely knee and the rest of your body !! ....

btw to arthur .. I was informed that this is from a 40kmph fall!! ..... think your 60kmph will be worst!! .. hmmmmmm

 

Actually, falling off the bike, the impact damage is similar to falling off over backwards ,no matter the speed. What hurts is the friction damage you get when you slide on the road. Road rash and all that.

 

Unless your horizontal speed is drastically reduced by something. Like the back of a car. This could very well be fatal, as i read somewhere, hitting wall at 100kph is like falling down 20 storeys. Not good.

 

Abrasion resistant clothing like denim jackets is good enough for riding. They are not expensive, not terribly warm, and quite stylish.

 

Haktek, if your knee is the worst of your injuries, i see you making an 80 percent recovery in 2-3 months. Your knee will start itching in 2-3 weeks! Dont scratch!

u ride low speed in a high performance ride, u'll spoilt the engine.

 

Actually, slow speeds on high capacity bikes can spoil your balls.

Was disappointed by the movie, too much shortcuts compared to the original story. But maybe this means there will be a Thor II and III..

Can't wait for the Avengers movie. And if Marvel gets its act together, maybe we'll see a Civil War movie one lucky day...
