Just came back from um, saw nofish there oso sweating like a pig. Washed my chain and it looks great hehehe, done e riser & led handguard my take on both.....

 

Riser: awesome great posture for me do take note u need to change ur clutch cable to a larger 1, e avenger which is $19.50. 10/10 for riser

 

Handguard: outlook 5/10, e lights on it looks like those x'mas hand band light not strong quite disappointed. Need to drill hole & remove balancer, in future cannot fix back cos e hole is bigger. How to rectify, change handle bar, think twice before installing or get a aftermarket handle bar to play with.

will be swapping out the lights for white LED stips soon when i find the time

Here's mine : Shadow's first full chain wash !

Mine was done without removing the chain - it needs a special tool to remove it which I didn't have on me at the time, so it was washed on the bike

Actually why not start blogging now. Interesting to know the preparation process too.

I have a double USB port, just in case need to charge two things at once..

The bike's size allows for a normal iphone cable to go from the dashboard where the USB port is, all the way to my jacket pocket, with spare to allow me to get on/off the bike and ride without being bothered by it.

If I have a tank bag, the device being charged is usually on the top/back pocket of the tank bag.

My boss was sick today so he went home earlier. I siezed the opportunity and sneaked out and took my bike and went straight to UM Went in at 3:30 and by the time Ah Teck got his hands to my bike it was 6:30 already

The demand for him is insane, not just forummers but everyone wants Ah Teck. Got to meet and chat with No Fish as well and another Indian rider.

 

BTW, Ah Teck confirmed that the 5th gear sound is a worn out 5th gear and the minimum cost to overhaul it will be 300+. But then he also told me if I can live with the noise then no worries. I asked him how many more kms can it run. His answer was "This one got no expiry date" haha.. that means I dont really have to bother about it.

 

Regarding the hard fork, he told me its due to excess fork oil, the previous owner must have taken it to a different shop who filled it with excess oil The cost for opening and refilling the fork oil is 35-40$. It was already getting closer to 7:00 so just decided to just live with for some more time. End of the day, waited for 3 hours but didn't do anything.
