and also have a ok 2 side speakers for music cos I hate to put earpiece in my ear ... reason i don't wear any while riding! ...

hahaha ... seriously i'm noob with all this gadget stuffs ..... but however to be honest where we are not in a cockpit where totally 0 noice. With helmet imho to have a very good clearity one need to invest a very good helmet in terms of air flow and sound it self.

mine is cheapo cause its onli for communication wif pillion and listenin to music..not wireless nor can answer phonecall..i tested it myself...at 100km/h cnnt hear e music alrdy, at 150km/h hard to hear each other talkin coz the wind noise too loud alrdy. uses 2 AAA battery but normal commutin will be no prob. basically its for tourin and to communicate easier wif ur pillion if both wear fullface ..

Yes bro, its really a matter of great concern. We should collectively think how to avoid such accidents. Although it may not be our mistake and the other party's mistake, but still, is there anything we can do from our side to avoid these accidents? I am still wondering.

Nowadays this thread is only giving bad news after bad news.. I don;t think ever since I joined here a few years back i've seen so many accidents so often in our group..

Like Speed said, please please guys be careful. Don't speed, don't ride if tired or angry or your mind busy with some other thing, slow down when it rains, and remember to check your mirrors ALL THE TIME and check your blind spot.

Anticipate , and think of every other vehicle as the winner of the most dumbest road user award !

 

I'm glad to read here that Brandon only had abrasions. Every time someone has an accident it saddens me.. And every time it's not the rider's fault per say, but just bad luck and some dumb driver doing something stupid.

Stay focused, stay alert, always anticipate the worse and don't trust other people's reflexes, sight or breaks.

 

Brandon, hope it's not too bad and that you'll recover soon. Let us know if you're still at the hospital, we'll drop by cheer you up ! Also, try not to worry too much about the bike: time will help and you will sort it out and get it fixed or replaced ok ? Hang in there bro..

i tink it all boils down to an individual..hw experienced he is on the road to anticipate danger and not being too complacent abt it. of coz, sometimes somethings are juz inevitable, beyond our control. wad we can do is juz be prepared for it and try to be safe as possible. lookin at how mjbs and o'ren gear up for ridin are reali exemplary. no doubt gearin up is hot and troublesome, but it does minimises e maximum injury u may incur. look after ur vehicle well to prevent skidding etc. make sure all ur lights are working properly. the reason y i chose osram over white or other bulbs is because the light throw is pretty far and it sumhow looks like im high beamin all e time. better to irritate drivers and let dem know u r der than not knowin at all and lettin u be hit at their blindspot etc. to all pulsarians, ride cautiously and speed safely.

There's only so much that we can prepare, that we can do, to ensure our own safety. but i feel ultimately it will still be decided by Him, no matter what happens, whether you reach your destination safely, or not *touch wood!*

 

My cousin is a safe and cautious rider (just a normal biker girl) and she just posted on FB that she got hit by a car from behind. the car must have been following very close huh? :/
