about Protec coil (evaluated on my way back home)

 

saw a distinct difference in the way RPM goes up, which in return gave good power in acceleration through traffic n lane splitting (yeh! i did lane splitting with confidence this time), was able to easily hit 8K RPM.. (speed cannot be monitored as my speedo is down)

 

will continue to monitor any gain in performance n I believe it will be good!

 

do try to note how fast the rpm shoot or will it stuck...

feel the power of protec coils...

I know that most of the active non lurking members of SBT have a day job so I don't know if you would be interested, but of course, it would be a blast to share this experience with fellow Pulsarians

But it doesn't matter where the bike is from, so if you have friends here in Singapore or in other neighboring countries who might be interested to visit Vietnam on their bikes this summer, let them know they can get in touch with me.

it feels good bro! the ride is smooth n noticeable increase in power in 4th and 5th gear around 6-7.5 RPM, i'm happy with it!

 

next up is to fix SINOOB! waiting for servicing time :)

Since I am a bit stuck at home, thought I'd go back and work on the video editing of the shots I took with the GoPro during the April BTMO.

Which led me to instead play with iMovie and create a BTMO Trailer we can use next time we advertise for our monthly outing

@alvinyansg, the rear camera looks nice, I thought the video didn't shake that much, I mean for the use you want to make of it it's good enough, no ?

 

@glzco , my latest date of departure is Sunday 12th of June, but we'll see if we're ready by then. I've been preparinf this for so long I can;t wait to take off now !

 

For the costs, the only cost I know so far for that permit is US$600 for a group of bikes. I hope not to have to pay anything else but we'll see how it unfolds...

34teeth, low pickup, but cruise quite comfy.

 

Pulsar 200 stock ratio is 14front/38rear so if you have changed only rear to 34 not that bad, although pickup will be affected quite a bit.

But if you have changed the front to 15, I would imagine your bike wont even move in the first gear

I spent 1 hr to cut the side of the filter by saw... The rubber is really tough and its being reinforced by the wire. Really saw till I sore... I had washed the filter and waiting for it to dry. Hopefully it will works!!!

@O'Ren: just realise another problem for the cam...i tried testing it out at home just to let it record...but it will stop recording on its own after sometime and the file size will be 0 btye...this happen on and off cause i will times where i can record perfectly fine without any problem...

i am using a 8gb microsd card...haiz...why do i always have a problem with cams...

 

for the trip, i will not be free over the next 2 weekends...

i made a mini exhaust tt connect to my engine oil... saw 2 guys at um tt day... said it cool faster.. i do feel air coming out.. and its nt tt ex so i didnt mind.. did for 50 rm onli.. haha..
