bro @romy enrique: let me explain some of the info here for you to make a better choice...currently in SG i am the only pulsar with carspeed...but in order for carspeed to work you need to do some wire re-routing as the power draw is a lot more and hence will cause not enough power to go to your tacho meter which will cause "dancing" tacho needle or stuck needle...not for all bikes, each bike has its preference...for carspeed also recommend to change your spark plug to iridium plug and upsize your MJ...

below are some more info for your info then you make your choice...

For those also interested in the protec stuff below is some info for your reading also...all protec stuff have to order...no ready stock...

Below is purely for reference only...each bike has its own preference...

Protec Ultimate V3 Ground(Left) + Protec Ultimate V3 Ground(Right)->Very good pick up and low end torque, but will feel coil almost at max cap at around 100km/h,good for daily cruising in SG roads

Stock Coil(Left) + Protec Ultimate V3 Ground(Right)->Good low end torque and pick up till 6.5k rpm,as right coil will cut off at 6.5k rpm, this set up will be good if you just want better pick up from stop or that extra power to overtake(under 6.5k rpm).

Yamaha 125z Coil(Left) + Protec Ultimate V3 Ground(Right)->Good low end torque and pick up and good higher end power and speed(watch out for vibrations at high speeds).Protec will give you the lower end torque and pick up(not as powerful as both side protec) and yamaha 125z coil will let you have the power at higher end when your right coil shuts off.

Protec carspeed Coil(Left) + Protec Ultimate V3 Ground(Right)->Good low end torque and pick up and good higher end power and speed(watch out for vibrations at high speeds).Protec V3 will give you the lower end torque and pick up(not as powerful as both side protec) and protec carspeed coil will let you have the power at higher end when your right coil shuts off.(Install carspeed might need some wire re-routing and upsizing of MJ)

Protec Air Filter-> reusable air filter, can wash with water or filter cleaning solution...Most P200 riders will experience the choke air filter light...as the stock sensor detects by lighter colour(filter clean) and darker colour(filter choked)...protec filter is dark in colour hence sensor detect as choke...can live with the sensor on or d/c the sensor at UM...

TDK Spark Booster-> Helps to stabilize the voltage going to your spark plug to improve sparking

Hurricane Volt Stab-> Helps in stabilizing your electrical current throughout your bike

alvin, i checked the manual liao, but never state anything about how to tighten the chain =(

fredd! im coming down tml =) whats good for dinner there?

few questions :

1) is it okay if my EO level is above maximum? cos i remember the last time i service, chris thought mine was a P200 and poured in 1.2L instead of 1L =(

2) is it normal if i no need to declutch to shift gear? i tried liao, reach certain speed, close throttle, kick up or down gear without declutching, gear will change, throughtout all five gears the same! worried that something might be wrong somewhere, feels like riding yamaha spark now. LOL

3) how often do u guys adjust chain slack, or wait till service then they do for u?

sometimes need to remind him...

yours is UG4...

well slightly above its ok...

for your changing gear,its normal...

but then when you change gear this way you are forcing the gears to do things that they are not designed for...

which means shorten their life span and your clutch plate life span...

please don't do it again unless emergency like clutch cable snap...

tightening of chain need tools to do it...

the manual will teach you how to check the slack...

if you really want to tighten it yourself, then google and youtube will be your best friend...

hahaha .. no lah .. no more racun from me ...

and yes lah nothing can last .. time to change will change one !!

reason for me need a good raincoat is cos of my sinus lah ...

my nose will have a waterfall when cold and the most i cannot tahan is the sneezing .. once i sneeze than it will be a non stop .. until stomach cramps etc .. if worsen must see doctor some more ..

so with a little spent more on good rain coat can save my time and money for other needs ...

arai rain coat yes is good cos I used before but the weight and storage is an issue for me ...

cheap rain coat during emergency can do lah ...

hahaaha .. i'm not a high class ppl lah buying all expensive stuff for a stylo milo one .. hehehe

and also ehem ehem i'm not like you all can afford changing bikes like change clothes or can upgrade bigger bikes ... kekekekekeee

hahaha no offence .... cheers!
