Maybe we can vote?

A. Only change the thread name and leave the rest the way it is

B. Reorganise the thread into a sub forum like the Phantom Knights did

Votes:

1. Alvin : A

2. Rev: A

3. O'Ren: B

4. Both can as long as a new name

5. Atipo : B

6. Charlton : B

7.strongbow : B

8. fredd : C for Casey Stoner = Move to a fb page so we cn post more nonsense..hehehe

9. speedaddict: anything. Fb page not easy to get new riders..

10. M0bilenerd: B

As per the vote above, we will go then with option B.

Now, we need 2 members to come forward and accept the title and role of Moderator in our new Pulsarians Singapore section.

As I said, please do not nominate someone. Volunteer YOURSELF.

I am not going to volunteer because I want other people to step up and get involved.

Roles of the moderator:

- Report any behavior or advertisement not authorized by SBF

- Help housekeep and maintain the new section organized

- Delete, edit, create new threads when necessary

The moderator will NOT be responsible for all the posting to create and organize our new section!!

I believe all of us should participate !

After we get the moderators and our new section is created:

I suggest each one of us be responsible to create and write up sticky threads on 2 topics , and maintain them.

Here's a suggestion of who will do what - it's time to show your support :thumb: :

01. MJ : Available aftermarket Sprockets (photos, details, explanation of what sprockets and chain do, comparison with stock sprockets etc..) + Spark Plugs Thread(includes, photos, share of experience, explanaition and which types to buy and get for the Pulsar, how to read them, how to change and calibrate them)

02. Alvin: Aftermarket Air Filter, Ignition Coil and Voltage Stabiliser + How to DIY Hazzard Lights on a Pulsar

03. O'Ren: How to Maintain your bike + Protective Gear Thread

04. Gaban: Tips & Advices on Riding in MY (What you need for the customs, good places to go, where to pump in JB, safety advices on riding in MY etc..) + The Pulsar Community Worldwide (links to Columbia, India, Indo communities, FB pages, good contacts etc..)

05. RevHappy: When and how to service your Pulsar (Servicing schedule, tips and advice on what to change when (especially for 2nd hand bikes)) + List of Bike shops to know (List bike shops where we can repair the bike or buy accessories (the most common only, with what they rpovide: example = ASK rear brake at this shop, seat cover at this shop, stickers at this shop etc..)

06. Speedaddict: BTWO sticky thread: explain purpose and venues, with photos, and how to join (process of adding your name) + Pulsarians Members Contact list (take existing list and maintain it)

07. Farhanians : The different Pulsar models (all details for each model and comparison) + Fuel Consomption Thread (Typical FC on each model, Frequently asked questions on the topic)

08. Strongbow: What to do when the bike won't start ? (Different causes and scenarios, how to kick start / push start / resolve the issue) + Luggage and boxes for the Pulsar (typical boxes most used, pricing, where to buy, examples of other type of boxes/saddle bags used. Type of tank bags and pricing, where to buy)

09. Mobilenerd: COE and Insurance thread (where to get insurance, what's the difference between buying in the shop and from owner, how much is insurance), + Buying a second hand Pulsar (things to watch out for, prices seen on the market, tips and advices, where to look for it)

Fircyber, Fiddy, Seif, Atipo, Fredd, Charlton : Each one of you will be responsible of reviewing 2 topics, and helping if needed, the author listed above.

Please decide among yourselves who reviews and helps with what. Or you can choose to suggest new topic ideas and write about them.

If you are new to the topic, don't worry, all the info you need is in this thread.

Use the search function here or as Revhappy explained, use Google with a search criteria.

Always write your topic as if you were writing to a super new rider, who knows nothing in bikes !

Also write in as much details as possible, it's a one time effort that will last very long and benefit all the members !

I am trying my best to get things moving and move us forward.

Now the ball is on your side, up to you to decide if you want to make this happen or not.

First step, again, is to get 2 moderators please !

No, SBF team will only give the rights to 2 official moderators .

Sorry for the long post. Trying to make something happen only.

Why limit the sticky threads? If it helps separate info. We don't want 1 thread with 50 topics in it.

Small sticky, 1 topic per sticky. Easy to find, easy to send people to, no ? :)

If you only tackle bike specs and aftermarket, then you are ok to continue answering all basic and FAQs ?

Honestly, me I'm a bit tired of answering questions about what EO should I get, and When do I do servicing, Where do you guys service the bike, what mods do you guys have on the bike etc...

And I am thinking, with the 200NS we will have tons of new questions, so might as well get organized before that.

Also, new section = ANYONE can start a thread.

So imagine when there will be every month, 2-3 thread asking the same question.....

But - if everyone prefers to do 2-3 stikies and leave the rest to freestyle, I can live with it no pb :)

We also need a Pulsar buy/sell thread just like Phantom and Super 4 forums have :) This could include spare parts and also the importing of stuff like sinnob, protec etc

Aggree on the buy/sell thread. Not sure we should inclue all the imports and aftermarket parts in it because it will become hard to find all the info after a few pages no ? I don;t know, we can try it and see how it goes :thumb:

can u believe it: i'm traveling a 1-way 2 lane road and keeping right, this m'sia van parking on the left slowly coming out. i'm keeping a very stable speed and quite far, he keep hesitating to go, then when i'm near, suddenly come out, causing me to e-brake n horn. then he not happy n block the 2 lane and tried to scold me. i also not happy, horn him. then he move a bit n tried to scold me again. being a good guy, i just left, but being cautious if he suddenly reverse. my blood is boiling to the point where i can alight n take out my spanner to fight. lucky i keep my cool. :)

Accident can happen anytime, anywhere.

However ask yourself, do you want to fall at 120km/h or 60km/h?

Actually it's the Discover that's launching that day - and people are only speculating Bajaj will also launch the 200NS...

My guess is 200NS will launch in June.

Anyway, if indeed the first 200NS bikes will be delivered to the customers in India first week of June, it means it should reach SG July or August !

Can't wait !!!
