P200NS will be coming out bit late in the year. Talk to Bajaj Auto Indonesia, the sparepart manager had not given information on the technical details on the parts. So It will be late 2012. How about SG? I asume because you do not have P220, you can directly taste P200NS..

 

i havent plan my wedding yet. u probably read someones elses wedding post.

 

i wish we had a cornering training here. its very useful especially riding in malaysia, with lots of corners to play.

Hi everyone.

 

I had been a lurker ever since Gaban spent some nights in Jakarta and he gave preview on SBT forum. I bookmarked your page and hopefully someday I got sent from my company I work for to SG. But alas, this year meeting will be hold in Thailand, so I think I will keep my dream to meet SBT a bit longer.

 

I own Pulsar 200 year 2008. But I had not been using it for more than a year. It had some problem with electricity / starter because too high compression I assumed.

I think P200NS will be perfect bike for Jakarta citizens. We need smaller bike to park more easily. We feel we are 2nd class citizens compared to car owner. Our parking space is very small, without cover from the sun and rain, and yet we have to walk bit far from the the mall / building. Yet we pay half the hourly car parking cost. Nonsense...

 

Smaller, nimbler, and faster Pulsar is better...

central java is nice. lots of greenery and mountains. and the food is good and very cheap. sometimes breakfast is USD 0.5 only....

mas dono: i think pulsar is very well suited in indonesia. one of the thing dat makes me feel not excited for the 200NS is the price tag here. expect it to be more than sgd$7k. compared to other pulsar models in indonesia, which is dirt cheap!! if i were to live in indonesia, well, i had collected bikes like u did. ))))

i've enquired with UM...was told 200ns will b cheaper than fz16. n after checking one of the advertisers...fz16 is slightly below 7k. so should expect 200ns to b lower than 7k as well.

unfortunately the scorpio is more pricey than Pulsar.

 

P220 --> IDR 18.6 mio

Scorpio --> IDR 24.9 mio

 

Price is a big gap, especially the pio is local made.. though it is being exported to Australia.. But riding local made bike make so much easy. The parts and the shops are all over the countries. Sometime the shops still open during weekends on small cities. They had been with Yamaha for 20-30 years, and they are mom-and-pops traditional shops / service station. They open during holiday.

should b OTR. u go see HL cycle ad for yamaha bikes. stated there fz16 is 6370. coe capped at 1500. so now coe 2000...add 500 to 6370 = 6870. so based on wat UM told me, 200ns should b less than 6870, if based on current coe.

this is just a rough estimate from all...

nth is confirmed until the bikes finally reached our shores and pass all the necessary tests and sold...

so lets wait and see...

even the rough arrival period on sg shores i think will have high chance of delay...

Cannot be lah, FZ16 price in India is 74,000 Rs very close to Pulsar 180 UG4 price. Currently FZ16 price and P180 UG4 price in SG is very close isn't it?

Which makes a huge difference. Expect P200NS to be atleast 9K OTR, if it is anything less, the Duke 125 and 200 wont make any sense.

Bajaj Pulsar 350NS

Expected Mid 2013 (Confirmed by Rajiv Bajaj on 30th January, 2012)

 

 

 

Finally the wait is over and it has been officially confirmed by Rajiv Bajaj that Pulsar 350 will be launched in 2013. He made this announcement at the Pulsar 200NS's launch event. It is expected that Pulsar 350 will also have 'NS' suffix and will be a naked bike. It is expected to feature a 349cc liquid-cooled engine with triple spark technology. No official announcement has been made about the technical specifications of the bike. It is expected that Pulsar 350NS will generate maximum power of around 40 bhp with maximum torque of around 35 nm. The expected price tag of Pulsar 350NS is Rs. 1.80 lakhs.

 

"We share the same development process with KTM, so you can expect there will be ‘a much bigger Pulsar’ next year, because we think the market is at an inflection point (at the premium end) and we are in a good position to take advantage with these two brands. There will be a 350 cc Duke next year, so you can expect something similar with the Pulsar next year. And going forward, in 2014-15 there will be even bigger KTM and even bigger Pulsar. I think this strategy of KTM-Pulsar acting together in the sports segment is a valid strategy anywhere in the world not just in India. We will look at leveraging this in many of our overseas markets in Latin America, Africa and South East Asia", managing director Rajiv Bajaj said.

Finally the wait is over and it has been officially confirmed by Rajiv Bajaj that Pulsar 200SS will be launched by the end of 2013. He made this announcement at the Discover 125 ST's launch event. Pulsar 200SS, where SS stands for Super Sports, will be the fully-faired version of Pulsar 200NS. It will be powered by the same triple-spark engine which powers the Pulsar 200NS. The expected price tag of Pulsar 200SS is Rs. 98000 (ex-showroom).
